I wanted a large ironing mat due to the size of wall hanging i was making, i couldnt buy one in the correct size. I needed to iron the piece flat. These are great and when you push them together you cannot tell they are two mats. AND by having two mays they store so much better

I bought this as a surprise for my wife who is a keen quilter. I see her ironing pieces of material to get them flat in preparation for sewing, it seems to me she was ironing the same pieces over and over on our standard ironing board just to make sure they were flat enough. Now with the new mat she only presses each piece once... and its done, great. I really like this pressing mat & its a good size to lay out quilt pieces when matching up to sew together.

I got this to use for ironing seams open when piecing quilts and it is brilliant. You get a really crisp result. It says you shouldn’t use steam on it (which would have been good to know before I bought it) but I have and it seems ok so far.

This seemed a high price tag for what it is, but it you get what you pay for, and the quality of this little mat is excellent. My daughter and I are both using it for quilting and small sewing projects, and loving the results. It sits next to the sewing machine with a travel iron meaning no more trips to the ironing board. Brilliant piece of kit. Highly recommend.

Very good quality

The mat, especially this size, is a considered purchase rather than an impulse buy but I'm so glad I bought it. I use it on my ironing board and it's perfect for pressing seams. Quilting strips and small pieces do not move and stay the same size and shape. It's rare to find a product that does exactly what the marketing text describes. Thoroughly recommend it.
