Beautiful, lifelike lion
Perfect for my Addams Family decorations.Looks exactly as pictured. The head is firm and appears to have a Styrofoam base. The body is soft and squeezable, and appears to have pellet filling but it's not floppy, it holds its shape. The mane is not thick in that it's not too fluffable, but it looks great pushed back so I don't have a problem with that.I compared this with the Melissa and Doug large plush lion, but felt this one was more lifelike in its coloring and shape, and therefore worth the extra money. The coloring is beautiful, as is the texture of the different faux furs. It measures approx 40 inches front paw to rear. The tail is another 18 inches. It's about 17 inches floor to top of head.Don't know about longevity as I just got it, but will update my review after Halloween when it's been exposed to a couple hundred kids.Be advised that it comes shrink wrapped, with the head and legs tucked into a ball, and looks impossibly small. I was disappointed at first because I thought it was going to be too small. But it instantly popped up into shape once out of the bag and restores to its actual size. The whiskers and mane were in great condition, facing in the correct direction. There was some minor crimping on the back of the mane and some of the body from the shrink wrap, but this seems to have fluffed out after spritzing it with water and gentle combing.Note that Amazon did not pack it properly and put it in a box that was so small the top of the box was curved into a dome. I opted to peel the tape off rather than cut it, and I'm glad I did. If I had cut the box I would definitely have sliced the lion. So take care when unboxing.

This lion is realistic. It came vacuum sealed so the mane was perfect. We use it for kids programs and they love it.

I used it for a safari baby shower and it was absolutely perfect, very real like and soft.

Arrived vacuum packed. Messed up whsikers and mane is not nearly a full in advertisement. Ok lion, but not worth the price
