Ricci Raffaello Stainless 5 Pc. Place Setting

Saw this flatware in a local store and really liked the look of it so I ordered one set to try out before investing in more. I really like that the large spoon has a good sized bowl to it as some flatware has a shallow bowl.Theflatware seems to be wellbalanced and of good quality. The handles are rounder and larger in diameter than my current flatware which feels nice when you need to get a better grip to cut through something mlre form - more surface area to grab on to essentially.These are manufactured in Vietnam - I believe only the actual silver ware items are made in Italy - the stainless steel items are made elsewhere.I will update this review in a few months after I get more use from these over time. I intend to hand wash these only.

was trying to replace the flatware I bought from a brand called Retroneu 12 years ago. My Retroneu flatware still looks like brand new (12 years later), however [somebody] in my house has lost all of my Retroneu spoons. (I do have 3 kids in the house).Anyhoo...In my search for attractive high end flatware that will last me the next 12 years, I narrowed down by choices to the Allora set by Reed & Barton and thus set by Ricci. I went ahead and purchased BOTH sets from Amazon so that I could check them out and hold them in my hand. The Reed and Barton set is quite nice and I would recommend it to anyone. I prefer the larger fork times on the Reed and Barton set. The Reed and Barton is lighter in weight than the Ricci, whereas I prefer the heavier weight of the Ricci. This Reed and Barton set is still worthy of 5 stars because it is gorgeous flatware. However, I am going to go ahead and buy more place settings of this Ricci, as the Ricci felt more substantial/heavier in my hand.Thank you for your review.

I selected this pattern because I wanted something with texture. I also wanted a more European sized set of flatware and this met the bill. I like the knife the least of the 5 pieces but it's still very nice. The other pieces are really great. The balance is exceptional. It seems to me that they come out of the dishwasher looking better than other brands of flatware I've owned - they still look shiny and new after a lengthy time of usage. I had planned to use this as an every day set but I like it so well, I'm picking up a place setting here and there because they look and feel so nice, they'd work fine for dinners with friends and family. Very pleased.

The gold version of this flat wear was on a PINTEREST board. I searched online for it in gold plate to no avail. I decided to buy just one place setting of the unplated stainless version to see if it was as gorgeous as it appeared online. Ricci Raffaello did not disappoint. I love the look and feel of it. So much so that I ordered another place setting and will eventually collect more. Hopefully, the gold plated version will become available again. If I find it, I will buy it.

I was hesitant to order flatware online again since previous times had proved a disappointment. However Ricci Raffaello not only met my hopeful expectations it well surpassed them. This is gorgeous flatware! Not only is the design beautiful, but the weight and feel in your hand is perfectly balanced. It sets an elegant table and compliments even your best china.

I bought one place setting each of the Amalfi, Raffaello, Primavera and Spirale flatware by Ricci. They're all gorgeous. I can't decide which I want a full service of -- but it's a toss-up between the Raffaello and Amalfi. Really, really nice and not the same old ho-hum stuff you find everywhere else.
