US Roundel Ball Cap

I was very excited when I found this hat. As a student of WWII, I appreciate having a hat that pays homage to that time in our history. This hat, however, only partially met my expectations.Pros: The patch on the front is crisp, clear, and attractive. In addition, there is an additional patch on the back that was a nice surprise. The item was also shipped very quickly; arrived 2 days after my order.Cons: The first con is a personal preference, but it is a con for me - the hat is relatively small and has a hook-and-loop closure (not my favorite). The second con is more important, and may make me reluctant to wear the hat - the patch on the front is sewn on in such a way that it is both off-center and rotated slightly. This gives the hat a lack of symmetry that is disconcerting and sloppy, and it could have been corrected by the simple expedient of ensuring the top "point" of the star was placed on the center seam of the cap front. For the price, such an error is extremely disappointing.Again, there are several things about the hat that I appreciate and like. However, the off-kilter placement of the patch will make me hesitant to wear this cap.

small and irregular fitting for an adjustable cap

Classic aviator insignia. Hard to find every where else but you guys had it and at a lower price! Wear it everytime I fly. Wear it so much its fading from all the sun and sweat. Guess I'll have to get another one

I was very dissatisfied with this hat. It appeared to be very old from storage as the white material was yellowed. The patch & stitching looked like it was made from some cheap material pieces instead of an good quality embroidery. Although this hat looks awesome on the pic... I was very disappointed in the quality & the price. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!!!
