Dr Song Benzoyl Peroxide Wash 10% Acne Treatment: Acne Face Wash & Body Wash 8oz

I love this product, honestly this has been the only thing to clear my Cystic Acne. But do use a good moisturizer each wash guves you better results!I'm 18 with cystic acne, the follow through with a moisturizer is honestly key. I use nuetrogena's grapefruit mousterizer after each wash. Use with a face brush!!! :)

I started using this product about 5 months ago in my underarm, groin and upper thigh area. I suffer from an autoimmune disease called Hidrandenitis Suppurativa, which causes acne like boils in those areas. Thousands of HS suffers will tell you how difficult it is to find products that work and help to heal flares. Although I can't be 100% certain, I attribute the improvement in my flares to my use of Dr. Song's 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment. It's gentle enough that it doesn't sting when I use it every day, even on open flares. And I've seen a significant improvement, particularly in my underarms. I'd recommend this wash to those who suffer from HS or acne on their body. It definitely seems to have made a difference for me and I'd consider trying other Dr. Song products.

That's right ladies & gentlemen, you read that right. lol I got this on a recommendation from a friend who is an exotic dancer... I recently picked up horseback riding and the friction was creating tons of red bumps/pimples that didnt look good on my bum... idk if they're really pimples or folliculitis but using this and Amlactin cleared them up noticeably within a week. I havent used it anywhere else (ie face) but I'm pretty excited with my results. It's been 3 weeks and I'm completely cleared. Like other reviewers have mentioned the product just spills out of the pump even if it is literally just sitting on a shelf. I solved this by unscrewing the pump off and letting it just sit there.. if you have it in a place where there is a lot of movement it may spill, but its worth the rebottling.

First off, I want to say that I paid for this product and didn’t get it for free. For years I have struggled with really embarrassing back acne. I was a field hockey goalie in high school (gross, sweaty pads on my body) and played lacrosse in college (constant sweating under the hot Florida sun). Even after college, my back acne continued and left embarrassing scars. Now I’m 25 and still workout a lot, so my persisting back acne is SO embarrassing. All I ever wanted to do was wear a low open back dress and feel comfortable. And unfortunately, I don’t have health insurance so going to the dermatologist was out of the picture. About to give up and get laser treatment for my back, I ran across this wash and decided to give it a try. And WOW. I actually wish I had taken a before picture, but I think I was too embarrassed by my back to do so. Now I NEVER get back breakouts (unless I go without using it) and it’s even healed some of my scarring! I’m so happy I found this product!! I wish I had found it years ago!

I have worked with, and personally used many skincare lines and have worked professionally in several high end spas. I am very rarely impressed by facial cleansers, being that they typically have similar results. Most of which, either dry the skin or leave residue and fail to cleanse well. I’ve only been surprised by one cleanser , and now THIS! Dr. Song benzoyl peroxide wash has made amazing changes in the texture and clarity of my cystic acne prone skin. I use only in the morning and another non drying cleanser at night. From the very first use it has helped exfoliate and soften my skin but never dried my skin one bit... although I have cystic acne my skin ironically is not oily, so typically benzoyl peroxide’s overdry and exacerbate my acne. I’m truly impressed and in love! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This stuff is incredible. However, you can't be blase about it otherwise you won't see quick results. I'm male and nearly 30 years old and have had relatively clear skin since I was in highschool. I recently had an oddly bad flare up of acne, not entirely sure why, maybe stress. I bought Dr. Songs face wash and used it twice a day, morning and night. I made sure to scrub my face with it well and then rinsed and patted (not rubbed) dry. Do it in the sink without a shirt on or while in the shower as it can bleach clothing as well as hair. The wash will also dry out your hands as it's what you use to scrub your face, so you might enjoy a little hand lotion every so often. It will also dry out your lips so chapstick is good as well. I also rinsed my face once a day while at work, between the two washes with Dr. Songs to help keep the dirt and oil off my face. Within a couple weeks, my acne was almost entirely gone or a couple faint ones. Just don't pick while you're doing this!!!

I've struggled with stubborn body acne for as long as I can remember-- I've bought pretty much every product out there, tried every cream and supplement, etc. On top of that, my skin is also annoyingly sensitive, so most products for moderate to severe acne are too abrasive and drying. I stumbled upon Dr. Song's Acne Face & Body Wash after doing a quick search on Amazon for a gentle benzoyl peroxide wash. I was a bit hesitant at first to order the 10% as opposed to a lower percentage, but after reading reviews, I decided to take the risk and order it. This cleanser is absolutely amazing. It leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed, and moisturized. The consistency of the product is more like a cleansing milk than a face/body wash. My skin never feels overdried or irritated, even in the winter. And best of all, it cleared up my stubborn body acne almost immediately. I started seeing results by the end of the first week. I would highly recommend this product to anyone struggling with stubborn acne or has sensitive skin.
