I bought 2 of these for each end of my garage. They are essentially the same as any led light bulb, but give a bright light and I had no need to ‘deform’ them.I had removed the original fluorescent light and fitted ceiling roses to take the new led’s. It was a straightforward job and the result met my expectations. Bright illumination in every corner of my garage with instant start, unlike the old fluorescent.Value for money and recommended.

Lightweight and adjustable. This light unit is almost too bright if the intended situation is small. I installed it to replace an old twin 8 foot florescent tube light in my garage. The new light is brighter than the old unit and disperses light well. It's an LED light rated A on the Energy scale so should be economical. Only one thing to bear in mind, it screws into an e27 (large screw) type Edison light fitting rather than the more common (in the UK) bayonet fitting. However, these are available online at reasonable prices.

As a few others have mentioned, I was a little dubious as to how bright this would be. Need not have worried, my garage has gone from dimly lit and dark from a single 100W bulb to looking like ive taken to roof off the garage, so bright.The adjust able arms make it easy to target the light into the furthest cornerns.Extremely happy with this purcase, in fact ive just ordered two more, one for the attic and another for my parents garage!

Now that I have installed it, I can report that this is a very good light which provides plenty of light for my work bench.The downside is that it has an ES and not BC fitting so I had the extra hassle of finding an adaptor. Not a big problem and my fault for not reading the specification more carefully. Just make sure that you check and order the correct one - both types are available.Only time will tell if the LEDs last as long as they should. I have had some LED lights which have failed after a couple of years and others that are still going after 3+ years. I can only wait and see what happens.

Thought I would give these lights a try as needed to increase the light in my garage (bought 2 of them) and I have to say they are really impressive and produce a great amount of light. The lights are lightweight and were well packaged and the only downside was the screw in fitment as this required changing the lamp holders but I knew this when purchasing them. They have now been installed for several weeks and no issues whatsoever and would purchase again if or when the LED's fail.

I find these lights great not for just garages but for anywhere in the house that that you need more than just a single bulb without having multiple lights. I'm an illustrator & find that the colour temperature & the almost shadowless light that theses give off are perfect for my work.I also have one in the kitchen & one in my electronics workshop.

I was looking for a bulb that folded backwards rather than the more prevalent forward folding ones. This works perfectly, is very bright and shines light in the direction that I needed it. I had to use an adapter as my light fitting is a bayonet type, which means it sticks out a bit further, but as it is lightweight, I have not concerns.
