This book opened my mind and heart as to how relationships are important and how to keep love within it alive

Initially unsure what to expect. I saw the two authors at spring harvest ( a fun Christian week at butlins) and found them really genuine and sincere people. I ordered the book as my marriage needs some work and was unsure what to do. Found the book excellent. Helped me to see where i/we were heading and what to do about it. Full of excellent explanations about people's behaviour and why we act the way we act the way we do. When you have kids it is so easy to drift apart - even with the best of intentions. This book isn't about blame or filled with references to God. I wish I had this book when I first got married and will buy it for anyone I know who is getting married. Five out of five!

A must for those of us that have been on the marriage road for a while; challenging, refreshing and encouraging. Given several copies to married friends - feedback good from them too!

I'm using this book as the basis for some marriage preparation classes I'm conducting for a couple who are soon to be married. We're all reading the same section each week and then discussing some of the issues that section raises. We're having a really good time, mainly because this is a really good book! In fact I'd recommend any soon-to-be-married or already married couple to read it. It's full of practical advice which, in my opinion, if followed, will help to strengthen and improve any marriage. I wish I'd been given such a book to read before I got married. It may have prevented me from making some fairly basic mistakes! (Mind you, by the grace of God, I celebrated my 35th wedding anniversary yesterday!)

If you want your marriage to work in the way God intended it, this book contributes to making that happen. Although not married yet, I find this book useful and mind-preparing for what is expected in marriage. And to be honest, like someone I respect says, most of what God has asked you to do in marriage, HE has asked you to do to your fellow human (minus sexual-related activities of course!). So some part of this book well applies to our daily lives as christians. I'm not done with the book yet, about a 3rd way through as I read it in bits, but its a good marriage book. I have already recommended it to my friends.

This is probably the BEST Marriage book on the market, and is based on a course.It is full of practical, realistic and thought provoking things you can do to ensure a marriage stays fresh and positive.If your marriage is under strain, buy this book NOW !!!It is continuing to make a major impact on my marriage for the better.Very readable, and you can dip into it anywhere where you need help.

The Marriage Book is an excellent resource for couples who wish to grow in their relationships. This comes long side The Marriage Course which is provided in local churches around the world and seeks to help couples have time together to privately work on their marriages.
