Not as good as clearspring red lentil and brown rice flour pasta
So, I have used and really enjoyed the clearspring red lentil and brown rice fusilli pasta but when I went to get some more, the delivery date was a bit longer, so I tried this brand. I'm sorry to say, I don't like it.. it's either too hard or cooked to mush, there doesn't seem to be an in between.. I'm aware red lentil pasta cooking time is an exact thing, but I was unable to get this one to be a good texture. Additionally the taste is nowhere near as nice as clearspring.. I guess the brown rice flour added to red lentils makes all the difference. Unfortunately I had to buy multiple packs which I threw out as I really didn't like this particular brand.. sorry 'really healthy pasta'.. so for me this was a pricey waste.

This is very healthy and also a good taste. The size of the individual pieces are small. It only needs 4 minutes on a soft boil. If any longer them it will turn to mush. After a few attempts, I have got the timing right and works well mixed with a sauce for lunches. I am hoping to find the same product in a penne style and possibly larger so any sauce can mix better within the pasta.
