I wanted a fog machine to add some ambience to a 50th birthday party and reviewed many machines on Amazon and YouTube, some cheaper and many more expensive, before deciding on the beamz RAGE 600.I watched some YouTube videos about the machine, so I had an idea of what to expect but I was still pleasantly surprised by just how well it performed.Operation is straightforward, put fog liquid in, plug in and switch on then wait for the red light on the hard-wired remote to turn green and then use either the wired or wireless remote to trigger the fog.I used the wireless remote all evening and the fog will come out for as long as you hold any button down.I expect the results will vary depending on the type of liquid used (I used American DJ Fog Juice Light Density) but I was happy with the density and spread of the fog and it went down a storm with the guests.One thing I will note is that I had no idea how much liquid the machine would use so I filled the 500ml tank full and despite using the machine very frequently over 6 hours it only used about 100ml.All in all it's a great machine for the price and I hope to get much more use out of it in the future.

A totally genuine review, bought this machine to help with Halloween effects, to be honest at the price point wasn't expecting much, but it's great! Takes a couple of minutes to warm up, them delivers smoke in bursts triggered from the wired remote, the output is great, filled my house in a minute, used it outside and with good quality fog chemical was literally filling my street, creating a fog, the best machine at this price point 👍👌

I had high hopes for this fog machine, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete letdown. Upon receiving the product, I discovered a noticeable hole in the internal tank where the liquid is supposed to be filled. This defect caused the liquid to leak all over the internal system, potentially damaging it. Thankfully, I noticed the issue before attempting to turn it on, as doing so could have been extremely dangerous.To make matters worse, this setback disrupted my plans entirely. I needed the machine urgently to test a lighting system, and this defective product caused unnecessary delays. It’s frustrating to deal with such a basic quality control oversight, especially when time is of the essence.While I understand that mistakes can happen, this experience has left me quite disappointed. I expected better from both the product and the seller. I’ll be returning the item and hope the seller takes steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to others in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it in its current state.

Works amazingly perfect for a studio

The machine is perfect and works well. However, there is a problem with the lead not fitting correctly into the mains socket on the back of the machine. It wobbles!Having researched I suspect the socket is kettle standard, and the lead is not. This is what I found on the net.What is a kettle lead?A kettle lead is known as a UK mains lead, an IEC cable or a power lead. Some people call it a kettle lead as it is pretty much the same cable used to power an electric kettle! Technically there is a difference between the IEC connector commonly used to power most AV and electrical devices (the IEC type 13) and the true connector used to power a high temperature kettle (which is in fact an IEC type 15). However in general, if you are connecting the power of a professional audio visual device such as an amplifier, an AV matrix or a moving head light fixture etc. don’t look too confused if they ask you for a kettle lead.

Great value smoke machine does the job to enhance my lights use a fence fluid for best effect, remote works perfectly but have to keep the button pressed for continuous output but apart from that can’t fault it been working for 7 years and my other cheap smoke machine packed in so let’s hope this lasts a long time also, if it doesn’t it’s still worth the money if replaced every 12 month for the price of an expensive one fills a large stage well and quick warm up time between uses

The media could not be loaded. I have worked with a large array of smoke machines in my years as I have worked for tv and theatre. I can say for the price this machine really packs a punch for such a small machine! It won’t beat the output of the bigger machines obviously, but it really is value for money! I used chauvet smoke fluid as this gives a better density to the smoke! I also love the fact it has a wireless remote!
