I was pleasantly surprised by the heaviness of this bed—it looks kind of wiry and delicate in the pictures but no, this is metal with a good weight to it. I bought it for display but it certainly seems durable enough to play with (although I wouldn’t pile a ton of weight on it) and would fit 18” American Girl dolls or similar.It comes with: a pink mattress, a blue mattress (slightly thinner to fit in the trundle part), a pink dust ruffle, one pink top sheet, two purple comforters, a pink pillow, a blue pillow, and a small round throw pillow, also blue. I am not personally a huge fan of the comforters and so have purchased other bedding, but they are fine for play quality and I’m sure a child would love them, and the whole bed.I bought mine “Used—like new” for nearly half off and it really was in “like new” condition, still in the original packaging! It comes pre-assembled, if you’re worried about that.

The bed and the bedding are well made. A great alternative to AG brand doll furniture.

Was looking into get a little roombox going, but I knew the bed was going to be the hardest part, and found this. While this is for the journey dolls, it does work well with 1/4 scale BJDs, which is what I got mine for. Came quick, and pre-assembled.

My daughter loves her AG stuff, but her Mom doesnt like the prices. I cant deny their quality is better though. I found an inexpensive dollhouse that needed a furniture upgrade but I refused to buy a bed that cost me more than the whole 6 ft tall dollhouse. This is a cute, surprisingly decently made and worth your money. Its comparable in quality to the 'iron' OG beds but with a better price tag.

My daughter recently got into American girl dolls. She wanted a bed to go with her dolls. American girl name brand goes for 120$-300$ I’m not paying that for a doll bed. I came across this one and thought it’d be worth a try. It is so cute. It’s built well and very sturdy. The 18 inch doll fits perfect! My daughter loves the colors of the bedding.
