I tried 3 different laptop desks and bought this one for the second time. When I needed a new one I decided I should try some others in case there was something out there better. I use mine mostly for arts and crafts and this one is big enough to hold various small items and the pillow holds it level on my lap. It isn’t light so be aware.

Light weight and easy to handle. Not as large as I thought, but works well for me.

It’s like having a portable desk. The cushion is so comfortable.

This lap desk is comfortable and holds my laptop along with an external drive without issues. The base being a soft material with give is an additional bonus as I have nerve damage on one knee making it very sensitive to touch and textures.

Perfect size and good quality! I needed this as a lap desk for reading and making study cards after knee surgery and it's great. Good to use as a little table to eat on the sofa, too.

We bought two of these. We picked these specifically because of the beanbag type fill in the bottom cushion. It makes it more comfortable and easily adjusted to leg positions.Of the two we bought one came with a small split where the layers were starting to delaminate. Since unboxing the split has spread across the entire surface and multiple other delaminations have appeared. The second lap desk is still in very good condition. I may just pop out the plastic inserts and cover the top with formica.

The smaller size is perfect for my iPad and many things. My Kindle w/cover fits in the slots perfectly, as does my iPhone w/cover. The removable lip allows me to lay paperwork or newspapers flat. The stuffing is soft and never uncomfortable, with enough height for easy reading. The wood and design are very attractive. The plastic insert at the top is also removable if desired. I use this every single day for one thing or another. It is extremely well-planned and intelligently designed for many various uses. So happy I took the time to find it. A best buy!

Size L(21.6"x13.8"). Build quality is excellent. I've had two of these, one smaller and this one. Had to return the smaller although it was equal in build quality. This one is perfect for me, a 5'9" user, sitting on my recliner or couch. I sit a large remote keyboard on it or my 16" laptop and also use it for writting on 8.5" x 11" paper. My large size Apple iPhone fits well also. Love this laptop desk!
