Zuzu Luxe Eye Defining Pencil (Iguana- Grass Green)

First off, I have switched all my makeup products to non-toxic, safer products. Zuzu is a great natural brand. I have this eyeliner in Slate (blue-grey), Indigo (cool toned purple) and Iguana (bright green). I have blue-green eyes and all the colors look beautiful and make my eyes pop without looking harsh or overly done up. I've gotten so many compliments on them, especially Iguana, as most people comment they are surprised how beautiful the green eyeliner looks. I've worn these on 90 F degree days all day long with just a setting spray and they've stayed on beautifully. They glide on easily and are just great eyeliners overall.

This eyeliner is great, my eyes are really sensitive and they have not gotten irritated from this eyeliner. I like the color a lot, it is not too light or dark. I love that it’s natural ingredients too.

It is nicely pigmented. Make sure to warm it up before using. I tried sharpening it but it kept crumbling and I had to mold the broken pieces back onto the tip.

Goes on easily.

I have extreme sensitivity to make-up, in particular eye make-up. I develop terrible allergic reactions to eyeliner and mascara and my eyes run and water. I also develop eczema on my eyelids to regular eye shadow. I have begun using Gabriel products (zuzu is a product of Gabriel) exclusively on my eyes for these reasons. This eyeliner goes on smoothly and generally stays put. It runs a little but can be fixed by setting with some powder. I wish it was a little darker for those times when I want a bolder, evening look, but I really need a liquid liner for that. But for day wear and normal evenings out, this stuff is great.

I wear this everyday! When I was younger I was always wearing white liner and haven’t been able to find any for years that was toxin free! Until now! I love using this!

I bought this item Because I thought it was safe. Saying natural, Vegan yada yada yada. Beware I unfortunately put this eyeliner on when I was going out. I got out and my eyes began burning like on fire. I couldn't get home for a couple of hours. I got home and being an RN I took off the eye liner and rinsed my eyes with eye solution two times. Next morning I knew something was major wrong. My vision was terrible and when I blinked it felt like cut glass. SO I called my Ophthalmologist and went to see him. I had swollen eye lids, my eyes were inflamed with edema and he said it was like a "chemical burn" that I had scratched corneas in both eyes and small tears in them. I had to go on Prednisone drops and eye drops. They did clear up but man not worth it. I think these are not what they are advertised to be. I have never had a reaction to eye makeup before. Obviously I sent it back.

I bought this eyeliner 3 months ago and it has quickly become the only one I now use. It`s very soft and creamy, doesn`t smudge and doesn`t irritate my very sensitive eyes. And it works very well as an eyebrow pencil too! I just wish it was available in more colours here on Amazon!

Nice quality pencil and lovely colour, but the pigment doesn’t stick to my eye.

It's gluten free.. it's ok
