Amazingly light and comfortable dinghy.
The dinghy is easy to inflate and made of tough material so didn't suffer when I pulled it onto a pebbly beach. My pooch has not damaged it with her nails either. Despite its strange shape it tracks in a straight line provided you paddle gently. The only negative I can find is that It does soften considerably when you put it in the cold water so you need to top the air up. Because the rear of the dinghy is higher it supports your back in a comfortable paddling position. You do get a wet behind though.

More versatile than you might think
Actually, t‘s fine in moderate whitewater if you don‘t mind getting a bit wet. The secret to getting the most out if this boat is to buy a good double paddle for high-angle paddling - and not the cheapest you can find (just because it seems light for the money). By honing your technique and adding elements of the j-stroke normally used with a single paddle, you can even reach acceptable speeds.

The best boat is the boat you have with you!
I borrowed one of these to take to Nepal. It makes it easy to get on the water anywhere, and surprisingly quick to inflate (5 mins). I weigh 90kg and have good balance so can get in without getting (too) wet! Expect to get a wet bum though, especially if heavier. Excellent for exploring lakes in slow leasurly fashion.I recently purchased my own to take on adventures where my kayaks/ paddle boards/ canoes can't go. I was initially concerned about a massive kink in boat (as others have mentioned). I contacted my mate who assured me this goes away with time. Mine hasn't after 5 or 6 uses, however it goes when raft in use so I'm not worried about it.Any water craft is a compromise between weight, stability, speed etc. This would be no fun at all if paddling with people in rigid canoes or kayaks as it's very slow. It is a useful tool for a specific job- packrafting on calm lakes/ canals/ rivers. I would insist on using with a bwoyancy aid unless you have the experience to make that call for yourself (I have been paddling for 25 years plus so know my limitations).I have carried my small dog on my raft which worked fine. I have also taken my Brompton (folding bike) on a trip which worked pretty well, although paddling was a bit cumbersome. If you have no boat at all, owning a raft like this will be game-changing as it will allow you to go where you can't reach on foot. If like me you have many many boats, this is a fun tool to get on the water when other craft are too heavy or access does not allow. It is not a "proper" boat, nor is it simply a pool toy. It's a compromise between weight and durability - my mate who is heavier than me would destroy it in minutes. With care however, it should last me a long time.Remember - people die of hypothermia in large lakes every year, usually when it seems sunny and warm but the water temperature is still very cold. As this is a single chamber craft if it got a leak you would sink. You need to factor in getting a paddle that splits into 4 and a packable bwoyancy aid before getting carried away with the price of one of these. In summary, great fun and easy to pack away, with obvious limitations.

unstable, doesn't retain air well, incredibly slow
if you're trying to go for a paddle on flat water, this boat is much worse than the cheapo inflatable kayaks. it is annoying to inflate (the valve it comes with doesn't fit a standard pump, i ended up jerry-rigging a pump into the inflator bag, which is the only thing that fits the valve). it is incredibly unstable - it has kinks in the side when inflated, and it doesn't retain its shape at all. it's not very comfortable to sit in (I ended up mostly lying on my back, and moving incredibly slowly), and it definitely felt like it had lost air after about 40 mins on the water. it's very light, but if you can carry a normal inflatable kayak, those are miles better by comparison (even the ones that cost half as much)

Total useless garbage
The raft is misshapen and leaking. After the inflation, the raft bends and prohibits any usage of the dingy. I was very excited to receive this dingy. After a long waiting, I received my package. And to my disappointment, the raft is not at all what I was expecting. Not that it's just destroyed my planned trip on the river, but it's left me with some plastic boat that can't even hold pressure or be seated in... Disappointment all the way... The best part of the kit is the inflation sack in which the raft is stored...

Ok I'm 75 yrs old.I do own 4 kayaks, 2 normal and 2 inflatables. But started getting harder for me to get in and out of the kayaks and getting harder carrying them to the lakes/rivers.Eureka for the KLYMIT LWD.Pros:-So light. I don't know I'm carrying it.-Easy to inflate/deflate no need for a big pump-narrow at the feet, room on each sides to get in and out.-packs so small-navigates well-I can lay down for rests-Has inlets to tie backpack at the feet and all around-Sturdy (I'm 220 lbs)-Easy to carry from lake to lake-The texture is very pleasant to the skin-When inflated there is a shank in the tube but once we sit in the boat is comes back straight and my body is as snug as a bug in itCons:-Does not come with paddle-Catching fish not guaranteed-Does not come with Canope and fridge-Did not increase my status at the gymAll smiles!

Great for lake floating!
These are great if you have the right expectations! I wanted to be able to go out to alpine or backcountry lakes and float around without the price of a packraft, and these are perfect for that. They pack easily and as small as advertised, they’re light, and inflating is easy though can take some time depending on wind - maybe up to 10-15 mins if it’s really not windy at all. They’re not super supportive to sit upright in, the fabric is light, and they don’t steer very well, so I definitely wouldn’t feel secure for any real river rafting, but I did take them on a larger lake with wind and waves once and the raft did hold, did get across, and I never felt like I would capsize, so there is that. Overall, if you’re looking for something compact to just easily get out onto water these are great, but if you need something to really be safe and secure to float rivers in I would up your price and get something thicker.

Leggero portatile simpatico e giocattoloso
