Belt fits GT 235 48C mower deck just fine, if it doesn't fit check your pulleys on the deck itself
This product fit my John Deere GT235 tractor, I have the 48C convertible mower deck w/3 blades. When I went to put this belt on, it wouldn't reach the front pulley no matter what I did. I released the tension bar, pushed it back and the back pulley moved but the belt was like 2 inches to short. It turned out that my one tension bar that has the spring on it and connects to the tension bar that I was moving, was bad. It also broke from the back of the mower deck so I needed that whole part replaced. I also had to replace the pulley and the pulley arm on the back of the tractor as it was slightly bent, which through it all off of alignment.Once I replaced the pulley, the pulley arm, the tension bar and spring that mounts to the back of the tractor, and the secondary belt on the mower deck itself.....everything was aligned and I was able to fit the belt on and start the mower again! It was about $200 in parts in the end, but I just thought I'd share in case someone else buys just the belt and it is just slightly too short. This was why!

Not direct cross for M143019
Installed on GT235 48"C, engaged blades and belt jumped off, repeated this 3x. Noticed that when I installed the belt it was much easier than it should have been - belt is probably 1" too large, fit should be tighter. will be returning belt and replacing with OEM belt.

Good replacement
Factory belt fell apart very fast. This one has endured the same abuse, and is help up very strong so far. Very pleased.

Belt for John Deere GT225
This is exactly what I needed to get my lawn tractor back up and running. Seems like a very quality belt and it was relatively easy to install.

Oregon Quaity
I have used Oregon products for many years on our equine breeding farm. This is the first Oregon belt I have used and it is the same high quality as the other products. The belt has splines on both sides of the belt and, as it has to bend three directions around the pulley layout, it should be long lasting. Nice feature I have not seen on over 30 other equipment belts on our different machines.

Perfect fit, works properly.
Fit perfectly, no problem. Seems to work just fine. Can't say how long it will last since it was only used a few times before winter.

Not worth the money in my opinion.
I purchased this belt January 2016 and it has already broken. My mower is kept in a building so it was not from the sun. I would not purchase another one of these belts.
