Great if your goldendoodle likes to chew through mower cords
I bought this product twice after my goldendoodle chewed through the mower cord a couple of times and it works great. It was easy to install with no previous mower repair experience and saves you the trouble of needing to wind the cord on the pulley like some other products.

Didn't last a week
This is the 2nd or 3rd one we had to buy. They're so cheaply made with plastic parts that none of them have lasted more than a few pulls before the fins inside break and you can't pull the cord again! You try to keep things from the landfill by getting replacement parts to keep things going as long as possible but when the replacement parts are inferior it makes it nearly impossible!!🤬It's a shame too because the engine ran great. I sat the mower on the curb and it was gone in 10 minutes, it's somebody else's problem now.

Good Replacement and Great Customer Service.
After only 30 days the rope broke. I am ordering one more to see if it happens again. I will report back later but for now I am very unhappy with this product.UPDATE: The seller refunded part of the purchase for the previous recoil assembly that broke. I received the new one and it has been working fine for 3 months now. Customer service has been good and seller helped to make things right and goal was to help me be satisfied.

Drop in replacement
It took me longer to find the proper model number to order the replacement than to actually replace the pull start on the lawn mower. Dropped right in, lasted the remainder of summer. Easy, worked, no issues, and cost wasn't prohibitive.
