If you feel like you are getting a UTI, this is good to take. I don't seem to need it anymore, but I always keep some on hand. I first bought it because my naturopathic doctor recommende it.

My naturopath recommended these to me to use as a treatment for my chronic UTIs and I am amazed at how effective they are! Apparently I have a really sensitive urinary system bc I used to get ~3 UTIs each year and none of my doctor's were able to find the cause. We were all concerned about me developing a resistance to the antibiotics, considering how frequently I had to take them. So my naturopath advised that I take two of these pills every time I felt a UTI coming along, as well as any time after holding my bladder for a long time and after sex. The frequency of my UTIs dropped dramatically once I started using these pills regularly about three years ago and it has now been nearly a whole year since I last had one! Something that had really impressed me about these pills is that they don't just prevent UTIs, but they can actually TREAT them as well! I was very skeptical of this and didn't believe my doctor when she told me that cranberries do have some antibiotic properties in very small quantity, so if taken in high doses these pills can have the same effect as a pharmaceutical antibiotic without the risk of resistance. So the last few UTIs that I have gotten I have treated solely with high doses of these pills (like 2 pills every 2 hours for a few days!) and to my amazement, IT WORKS! Now I am not a medical professional and you should definitely consult with your own doctors about using these pills in the same way that my doctor told me to use them, because they may not work as well for you as they have for me... But they are worth trying. They have helped me with my chronic UTIs more than any other thing that I've tried and now I make sure to always have one or two bottles handy in case something comes up. Ok, backstory: I’ve had chronic UTIs for several years (on average 6-10 UTIs and rounds of antibiotics per year). I’ve also been to the point of being told I need to go on Antibiotics for the rest of my life several times by multiple doctors. Then one day I had a random doctor tell me to try this and it’s not only prevented UTIs but when I do get one, it treats it as well as any antibiotic I’ve tried, if not better. When I feel one starting, I take 2 capsules 3-4 times a day, then drop down to 2x per day, then for regular maintenance 1x per day. It also works better than D-Mannose and a GF+Vegan/Low-Acid diet. TLDR; it’s 100% worth it and saves me $$$ from not having dr visits every 6-8 weeks.

I had used Uristatin before and it worked good, but I think Cranstat works better. Both have the same main ingredient but this one has additional ingredients that also kill bacteria in UT. I am very happy I found this product and intend to stay on it as prevention. Menopause has caused me so many UTI's that some times I get 2 a month; when I was young I only got them 2 to 3 times a year (yes, I am predisposed to UTI') and now I get them all the time. I am so tired of antibiotics and their nasty side effects, I am staying on cranstat as prevention after this UTI is cured and see what happens. I hope I never get anohter UTI. my kinisiologist said the mistake I was making is that I stop taking it for periods of time, and that is why get another UTI. I am to take all the time ax preventative measure. If you know you get a lot of UTIs according to him, I have to stay on this in small dose just 2 times a day as prevention every day.
