Administering a condominium in Florida is very complicated, because the Florida condominium statutes are so complex and extensive. Dunbar's "The Condominium Concept" is by far the best reference work for Florida condominium boards of administration who perform that task and for condominium owners who want to know the law in this area. Just about everything is covered here in very understandable language. There are also many forms condominium associations can use. There is an excellent index to help you find what you need. Statements of what the law is are supported by footnotes directing you to the particular statute, Florida administrative rule, court decision or other authority upon which the statement is based. Best of all it is extremely accurate. This work is updated each time the Florida legislature amends condominium law.In short, this work is “the bible” for Florida condominium boards. It is the “must have” reference every board member should have on his or her desk. It will keep you on track and save a world of time finding out what is what as you administer your condominium.

I have bought Peter Dunbar's Condominium Concept for the last several years. I thoroughly enjoy reading because it is very informative and he writes in a way that the layman (legal secretary and Board of Director of Condomium Association here in Florida. I have recommended Mr. Dunbar's book to many different people especially new Board members because I feel it is much easier to read than to sit down and try to read all of Florida Statute 718. Will continue to recommend his books and I will continue to buy them as they are updated.

This book has helped me tremendously. I have only scratched the surface but intend to keep it beside me at all Board meetings! Information is easy to find, how a meeting should be conducted and rules and laws of operations are all covered in this book!! Yup I love this and it will truly help me be a better board member!!

This book provides a good statement of the Law. I did not find much that could not be obtained by just reading the Law. itself.I had hoped it would contain more analysis, explanations of decisions by the State, arbitration decisions, etc.

This book is extremely helpful in areas of Condo Law practice. It should also be a must for any member of a condo board. It will answer most or all of the procedural and legal questions that you will encounter while the condo is in operation.

I use & refer to it All The Time.... As President of my Condo Association, I need a quick & handy reference... Someone always wants to know something, & the book has nearly all the answers.... Great Asset.... mvc

A MUST for board members and association members of condominiums in Florida. Easy to read and understand - when in doubt, look it up - the answer is in there!

This is an excellent resource and I use if fairly frequently with other books. I am president of our HOA and have found this book very helpful in my management of our HOA.//Chuck
