Bedazzled: 5000 Years of Jewelry----The Walters Art Museum Paperback – September 21, 2005

Although this is a small book it is full of beautiful photos of gorgeous antique jewelry. I believe the jewels within are part of a collection displayed in the Walters art museum. The goldwork throughout is simply beautiful.

I bought the book to use as inspiration for the jewelry I make. I enjoy the history of my favorite art, Beading, and it is interesting to see the timelessness of the designs as well as the artistry and technique for the ancient times.

This was like the other two beautiful to look at and interesting to read. I was again hoping to get more information on how the jewellery was made in ancient times, not just what they were making in certain areas but how.

Yeah, this book bedazzled me! The book has amazing listings and images of ancient jewelry, which includes the historical and the properties of each jewels listed.

Lovely photos and wonderful selection of jewelry I had not seen anywhere.

Just drop dead gorgeous. It is a look book.

I received the item on time and in wonderful condition but was very disappointed by the book itself. Its VERY small and all the 5000 years of jewelry was just from one private collector. I thought there would be more information and definitely more of a history. I would not recommend this book to anyone. But not the fault of Amazon :)

This book is little~so that title and size don't match, but the book is good~or so my jewelery loving friend that I gave it to said.
