Amazing attachment for my drill using the hex logic pad and it’s been amazing to attach and easy to use but wish Im came with instruction how to attach it

Overall, not that impressed.Out of three of them, one was out of balance. The price, based on two-out-of-three is still pretty good and the ones that work, work very well.A little softer rubber than I imagined, but that's o.k. too for assorted applications.All things considered, I'd buy them again.

Great pad for buffing my acrylic aquarium

Bought this item before I read the reviews and then became concerned that it did not have the threaded section to attach the backer plate to the polisher. However, what I received was perfect right out of the box - ready to attach to the polisher, no additional parts needed.While the picture does not show threads, the black nipple shown on the backer plate is a protective cover over the threads! It pops right off. This is a nice touch such that the threads are not damaged during shipping or handling. Another nice touch is that it comes with two washers - don't throw these out! Use theses washers as spacers when one attaches the pad to the polisher - it gives extra space for the tightening wrench to get in between the pad and the polisher.This backer pad also has a couple of other features that make it a nice backer:1) The rigid plate on the polisher side is smaller around than the pad that came with the polisher. This allows the plate to be a bit more flexible at the edges for working curved areas.2) The body of the pad is a more flexible material than the OEM backer plate. Again - better for working curves.I am not sure why OP had an issue - perhaps they got a defective piece or another model that requires an adapter. I found an adapter on ebay priced at $3 plus $3 shipping and picked it up so I could buy any backer pad in the future.So bottom line: Good backer plate, comes ready to use, has some nice features, good deal! Would buy again.

would have been nice to try, but the bag had a tear on the bottom and both dill adapter and DA adapter fell out. Its a really nice concept though, I might just order another the price if very good. plus if I get the Adapters I can have on for my DA and one For my Drill.

It’s a 3 inch backing pad with bolt hook up for a drill & a bolt hook up that works on most dual action polishers. It worked fine with the meguiars 3.5 inch pads. Haven’t had it long enough to know what the durability is like.**Used for a max total of 45 minutes not continuously. And it separated and the pad flew off, and left the bolt and backing plate on the polisher.

This product broke within 2 minutes of using it. I have used all kinds of Chemical Guys products and have been super pleased. However this busted apart while polishing an area approximately 4 inches wide. The almost completely flat surface located on the rear facia of my clients car was damaged. It caused a scratch that took me well over 45 minutes to repair. Very disappointed I will definitely rethink my purchasing options in the future.

Worked perfect for a small mirror, but fell apart where the stud hooks to the backing plate. Looks stripped out. there are two models? Of this, and the RED one IS a great product, but for some reason I can only leave a review on the smaller yellow one. The RED I would give 5 stars for, AVOID THE YELLOW, they are built differently!

I ordered this so that I can polish some tight spots using my buffer however after an hour it blew up and sent metal shards flying all over the car! The exact opposite of what you want to happen when polishing. I assumed I was unlucky and reordered the product, and once again the SAME thing happened. I was using it properly and the 3rd backing plate I ordered from a different company has held up fine without any issues.

I bought this a while ago and just got around to using it.I was doing my headlights with a DA. I got through the first set of grit but the next grit, the DA kept wobbling. I thought it was me because I am new to this. I finally stopped the machine and looked at the backing plate and it was warped. I wasn’t even pressing hard, just letting the machine do it’s job.Not impressed.The only thing of value was the adapters that came with it.
