A great shoe that has become increasingly scarce and exceedingly expensive!
I haven't worn Brooks shoes since I was training for a marathon decades ago. Because of plantar fascitis and lower back issues, I switched to walking back then, and still walk today. I happened upon this exact shoe(Adrenaline GTS 20) in a shoe store several weeks ago on sale. The first time I wore them, I was amazed at how good they felt on my feet. I would occasionally go back to a couple of other name brand running/walking shoes for my daily one hour/three-mile walk. For the past several weeks, though, I have stuck with this shoe for both exercise and regular walking. And each and every time, it is impossible for me to describe how really good they feel!I have since bought two additional pair of this same model shoe, both of which were back-ordered on Amazon. One has already arrived, and the other is expected in a week or so.They are scarce in my size(10.5).As a kind of bonus, the lower right side of my back has for years begun to hurt about half-way through my daily walk. Once I discarded my other-brand shoes and have worn these exclusively, my back no longer bothers me at all, no matter the distance or the speed at which I walk.I am a believer!UPDATE: I just bought my fourth pair, which is now two generations (GTS 21 and G22) old. But they are just so comfortable and fit so good. And at my age(77), those two issues are more important than ever!

Great shoes, great comfort, great stability
I don't know enough about running shoes to tell you all of the technical details and how they impact the shoe.I do know that I put the shoe on it is very comfortable it has enough cushion/padding around the shoe that helps keep it in place without being tide restrictively tight. The shoe offers me a great amount of support while running and jogging that it's easy to forget about the shoe and its entirety. These are breathable enough that even on 5 mile runs in 92-95(f) degree weather my feet aren't getting swampy. While I wouldn't stomp through a puddle, running in the rain doesn't leave my foot soaked through with that horrible squishy shoe/sock feeling. These are great shoes for warm weather running, I have yet to try them during cold weather.

Flat Footed Asics wearer converted!
I have been wearing Asics GT-2000 series shoes for over 5 years, and decided to try this pair after my wife has been wearing the ghosts for a while. These are very comfortable - the cushion is great on my knees that have endured a total of 3 surgeries. The stability is not quite like the GT-2000s, but the support is still there for my non-arch. I actually enjoy wearing them, and the only thing I would change is the lace hole locations by the ankle and the heel lip design - so I could more easily just slip them off/on without tying them :-) But that's about it - great, solid, well built shoe here.

15 (X-wide)Best shoe a big guy could ask for
To start, I'm 6'5 and 335 lbs with a diagnosed hammer toe. I was up to 365 after my wife had a baby, and have worked my way down 30 lbs since February, albeit painfully. It came to a point where my old running shoes were hurting more than helping, so I decided to look for a new shoe to help me continue my weight loss and train towards my eventual goal of a half marathon in November. So to Google I went. After coming through countless top running shoe lists and looking for shoes that are rated to heavier runners, I came across this one. I'm not used to spending much on shoes, but with how far I had come, and the pain level my feet were in after every run, I pulled the trigger. These shoes are everything I hoped they would be and more! The cushion and support they offer has virtually eliminated any foot pain, as well as the knee pain I developed. I have noticed an immediate increase in endurance and overall comfort during my runs, and even my speed has increased! I never thought a shoe could make this much of a difference, especially for a larger guy. Most reviews for shoes are from average size guys, or at least not touching 300 lbs. It's good to know that this shoe's reputation holds up, even in the larger sizes. I couldn't be happier and plan to keep using these shoes throughout my training, hopefully during the half marathon, and well beyond that.

a comfortable shoe to wear
i did compare and try a few others, and this one is comfortable to wear and stylish, and i may want to buy another pair in black color. first i like it is not too wide, also the upper feel material is good, and looks more firmed. Some other the upper feel like plastic. recommend it.

Fit to Be Tied
I use these for what you might call power walking. I am 71 and do 4 miles at dawn on forest roads every day, some of it on hills. I had been using a pair of relatively new New Balance sort of general shoes. I felt that I needed more support, as it seemed that my feet were "falling" even more than they do with age. There was nothing wrong with the NB shoes, but I just wondered if there were something better. I remembered that many years ago I had a pair of Brooks when I used to actually run, and they were very durable. I had forgotten all about Brooks. But I looked these up and decided to take a chance. They are very light. The size is perfect (for me, M12). The arch support is excellent. What surprised me was this thing they call "GuideRails." When I saw it in the description, I was like, "Yeah, whatever." But when you put these shoes on, you can actually feel your ankles being ever so slightly supported in a straight direction. One other thing that I will mention is that these shoes have a "footprint" (sorry) that looks like your foot. If you look at them from above, they do not have a rounded toe, relatively straight sides, and less rounded heel. They are contoured to your foot and go in a little bit at the arch, thus giving you support in that way, too. I seldom write reviews, but felt I should do this to thank Brooks and to save other buyers the pain of trying to figure all of this out. Just buy these!

comfy and supportive
Think I went with 9.5 when I'm generally a 9. Really comfy and supportive. Done stacks of running in them, and basically wear them all the time. Previous pair lasted OK - not amazingly, given these things ain't cheap are they!

Supertolle Sportschuhe

Brilliant pair of kicks for people who overpronate
The product was delivered before time. The fit is just about perfect. I had the best run of my life in these kicks as I didn’t experience the usual ankle and knee pain that I did when I ran due to overpronation. They are superbly balanced and lightweight too. Worth the high price.
