I built a ride on railway for my grandson, which runs through my workshop. I have a side maintenance for working on locos/wagons when needed but I needed to be able to move them between tracks, locos can weigh anything up to 250kg with 2 x 90ah batteries fitted so I decided to build a DIY gantry with an electric winch and timber I had around the workshop. Building it was easy enough but I needed it to be mobile. I had some old wheels from B&Q from a few years ago, they were fine for rolling up and down but weren't great when the wheels needed to spin (for changing direction etc) so I opted to give these ago. They arrived nice and quickly after ordering.Winner, these wheels are great. They glide effortlessly and spin and turn with a 250kg load as if there was nothing on them and they are silent. To top it off there's no play in the bearings which gives my gantry a nice solid feel whilst remaining full mobile.I would highly recommend these if you are looking for something well built that will move loads effortlessly.I'll be getting more the next time I have a project that needs to be mobile.

Good solid castors as described and arrived promptly. Used on our mobile kitchen island giving the perfect clearance and smooth sturdy operation. Really please with the quality and price. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Heavy weight castors arrived promptly. Used to replace castors on wooden table after one of original castor's on table snapped. Now very easy to move table. Good service from supplier.

A good set of sturdy wheels, bought for outdoor use. The base and wheel supports have stood up very well to the vagaries of the weather for over two years so presumably they are made of stainless steel. Sadly the brake levers are not, as one has rusted and broken, jamming the wheel.I would recommend these wheels for indoor use but suggest you look elsewhere if you want them to last outdoors for more than a couple of years.

These castor wheels were exactly what I needed to turn an old pallet into an outside table. The locking function keeps the table secure but makes it easier to move around when needed.

The wheels were very loose and wobbled from side to side. Two of them couldn't be tightened because the nuts were stripped and just kept turning round.I didn't believe it was possible to have a stripped nut and the bolt thread undamaged...but you learn something new everyday.We had to cut two of the nuts off and use new bolts to tighten the wheels.Any they claim 400kg....yeah right!Absolutely rubbish, but we needed to get this cart going in a hurry to move. Will purchase better wheels later and swop....these ones aren't even for for scrap. They're absolutely junk. Don't waste your money!!!!
