Canada Green Grass Seed - 6 Pound Bag

Have bought grass seed twice. Great product. Yard never better. Grass growing now where it hasn’t in 20 years. No complaints.

I bought this to put grass under all the trees I have in the back yard that are under many trees. It has been so hard to grow grass in that area. It is normally just dirt. I did notice the yard is eroding and my back yard is sloping . I just simply threw the seeds out after a rain and forgot about it. About 8 days later.. I saw some skinny grass growing. It was not the dark green thick stuff my front yard has but.. it is alot better than dirt. I am not sure what it will look like next year but to see something besides dirt is good. The trees completly block any sunshine from shinning on the back yard so I am happy right now.

Came fast and packaged well! All we did is raked the ground a bit then spread the grass seed down watered it and not to long after had grass going where we had bare spots! So easy to use, would definitely buy from this seller again! By the way we have sandy soil and it worked!

A fast fix not so permanent fix. I bought this for a fast solution to a muddy erosion area to keep the dogs from getting muddy paws all spring & fall. It worked well for that. Came in fast and really I didn't do much but toss it on the ground & let the rain water it initially. Then later sprinklers. It died out in heavy Texas heat & intense sun/drought but $100 in the fall & spring kept my floor clean and our sanity in check. I'm sure if we had been more diligent with watering it would have lasted longer.This particular items is not the real thing from As Seen on TV. Ratio's of mix are different a bit. At the end of the day neither the "real" thing nor this has been perfect but it grows grass and it does come in fast & stay green when other grasses are dormant.

Amazon should not be selling this product! I don't know what was actually in the bag but I can tell you it seemed to germinate nicely and then suddenly it all turned brown and died. I am a well-trained master gardener. I know what I am doing. I wanted to quickly fill in a 100 sq ft area of lawn that had been dug up during construction. I wanted a mix of perennial and annual seeds so I would get both immediate and long-lasting results. I intended to supplement with additional perennial seed in the fall. This seed didn't last more than 2 weeks. Just horrible and terribly embarrassing for me, when people expect my garden to look right. Such a disappointment - I feel really ripped-off. Believe this review - don't buy this product . I will try to post a picture if I can. you be the judge. Amazon, take this product down!

I love it. You put it on your lawn and water a little and starts growing in 3 days so beautiful green.

Very happy with results. I raked the soil and lightly covered seeds. I am extremely pleased with this product. Only half of area is done because I have my herb garden and need to water ever other day. Once grass is strong enough to mow then I can do the other side. The only thing I don’t know is if it will survive the Florida summer. I will post pictures after summer is done. I still have to do the area around pool once the construction end. 6 lb bag is more than enough for the areas I have to cover.
