Durability and weight are awesome!
For such a massive tarp to weigh as little as it does and be as strong as it is for the material being so thin, is absolutely amazing! I I chose a lighter color for summer to reflect more heat and with the coating it has it sure Works amazing for keeping sun off of you and not getting hot. 100% waterproof so far, compact for a 10×10 and tough as heck for such lightweight tarp, I love it and will be purchasing more in the future! For the price it worth getting a few haven't had it in high winds yet we Wil see.

Very durable
Used this tarp for the first time last week at St. Andrew's State Park on Panama City Beach. It was VERY breezy and the tarp did not show any signs of tearing or stitching coming out. Provided great shade due to the silver coating inside. Would buy again.

Worth the money if you're just starting out.
Little background... I'm just starting out in the backpack/wildcamping scene. I know there's all kinds of options for gear and whatnot. I started upgrading from big box store "blue" tarp and this is my initial impression of this product as I have yet to use it on a trip. The seams are well sealed and put together. Honestly I'm a bit skeptical because of how light this feels compared to the heavy and bulky poly tarps, but again I'm just starting out with actually gear... it's plenty big enough for my 11' hammok and gives a good sized area in porch mode. I'm curious how well the mylar coating reflects heat once I'm under it, (big reason why I opted for this tarp.) The tarp packs down to the same size as my double hammok which leaves me alot more space in my pack than I thought. So far I'm really digging it and I'm excited to get out and put it to use !Now...the only things I would possibly change are 1: more color options, and 2: a few more tie out grommets in the center of the 12' length, which I'm going to add in myself eventually. other than those 2 things I'm very happy with my purchase.

Quality value and innovation all around great tarp
The Bear Hard tarp in my initial inspection and review seems like it hits all the notes. I especially like the inner reflective surface a feature my more expensive brand name tarp does not offer. This could be a life saver on colder weather as it would reflect heat back from a fire built in front of the tarp(in a safe manner)! Also the UV resistant coating and 3000pu waterproofing is awesome. I like that it comes with stakes guy lines and carry bag. It has many tie out points and reinforced Grommets as well. I posted this review because the camo picture looks like a non descriptive camo and it’s hard to tell if it’s useful but the tarp I received has a generic looking woodland based camo not high design but perfect for northeastern and woodland forest environments. it actually will blend in quite well in most environments the backs are there and not that animals care but it’s not and ugly pattern to look at. Bear Hard seems to be the type of company making outdoor gear that cares and provides vale and dies the little things right. It does not matter what you pay if something is garbage or does not do it’s job in the field. Bear Hard made a good product at a good value that with the stakes, uv coating, and reflective inner surface ups the tarp game and provides a better product value that just may do a better job in a real shelter need of keeping you warm. Dry and alive. Do me a favor support them but leave me some in stock in case I need another.lol!

Excellent fly!
Excellent fly. UV coating underneath helped keep it cool. That also reflects a little light and heat at night, nice feature.Very solid construction, double stitched anchor points are durable and really convenient. I spent the night in severe thunderstorms and stayed totally dry. Be sure to add a drip ring to the ridge lines to prevent water running along the line and dumping at the anchor point. That’s not specific to this fly, just a tip when hammock sleeping with a fly.

A Company that stands behind their products.
The Bearhard tarp I received (Grey) had a manufacturer defect and was missing a buckle on the corner. The packaging that came with the tarp had a card with their support email for any issues. Within 45 minutes of sending an email to their company, Lynn from BearHard wrote me and quickly worked to resolve the issue with the product I received. Within a day and half, I had a new tarp. The tarp itself is durable with a reflective inner lining which is excellent for reflecting heat back to you. I purchased the 10 x 10 tarp and it is more than sufficient to handle any needs I want to use it for. A tarp is a great item to have with you when going out for a day hike or any backwoods adventure. You never know when the day hike might turn into an impromptu camping or survival trip. Coupled with some Nite Ize Aluminum CamJams and 550 cord, you can have a shelter in minutes. I like great products, but more so, I like the companies that stand behind the products they sell and Bear Hard does just that.

Worth the money
The media could not be loaded. That being said it's somewhat expendable. All the stitching and seam seal is probably the best quality I've seen on any tent or tarp.I'm sure it will last longer than I expect. There's mores stakes than you need found the two that had the most aluminum and kept those.I took it out and made it a shoulder width roll I use the camo bag for stakes and other hardware.

10'x10' is actually 9'x9.5'
The 10'x10' is not a 10x10'. EDIT: Jan 2023 Changing from 1 star to 3.Adding 1 star for responsiveness from the seller and the offer to work with me. I asked if I could return the too-small tarp I received, reorder, and get one that's the correct size. Seller responded that if I order another it may also be the wrong size, stating manufacturing issues.Adding a second star because it really does seem to be a very nice product! Repels rain, has enough tie-downs, holds up in the wind. I'll gift this to someone who'll be using it differently, and I'll buy my 10'x10' elsewhere.

Very disapointed
Product is probably quite good. I'll never know because TulaShop sold me an item they didn't have in stock and provided me with someone's tracking number for a different city and province. I'll never deal with them again.

Macht was es soll
