Banpresto Dragon Ball Z 9.8-Inch The Son Goku Movie Master Stars Piece Figure

This figure is awesome!! Paint job is awesome!! stands in at 10 inches!! Awesome!! It stands on its own too!!!! My regular Son Gokou figure has trouble standing so this was a nice surprise!! This figure has some heft, almost 1 lb!! (15.3 oz) which helps it stand properly. And at around 30.00 this is an awesome value!! Buy it!!

Wow, they're not kidding with the quality on this one. After giving it to my brother as a gift, I took a photo of the figure next to his face, and it makes my brother look like the cartoon!Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, despite its ridiculous name, is the new direction of the Dragon Ball franchise, and no longer just a gimmick from the "Resurrection F" movie. This form (and this figure) looks quite elegant and makes a great display on the shelf.

This is one of two figures I've bought from Banpresto, and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. I've seen other figures like this but they were not quite what I was looking for. After reading the reviews and doing some research on the figure, I decided I'll give it a shot. Plus, it's less than $25 so I wouldn't be too upset if it came up short. I'm glad I bought this, because the quality matches some of my figures that I've paid over $100 for.The figure comes in two pieces (Upper and lower body) in a small box with the head extra protected and wrapped. Just be careful when removing the packaging around the head. Assembly is extremely simple. The figure cannot be posed and it stands on it's own without a base. The quality of this figure far exceed my expectations. The size is perfect at about 9.8", and the detail is great. I also bought the Banpresto Vegetto Master Stars and that one is fantastic as well. Also, I'd like to add that the figures in this collection are sized according to their size in the manga/anime. For example, Vegeta will be shorter than Goku but they will not look out of place. I looked up images of the figures together and it applies to all figures from the Master Stars Piece series. I will look for new figures in the future such as a Vegeta in the same Super Saiyan form. I highly recommend this series of figures. I hope this helps.

I ordered this figure from goHastings. Compared to YouTube reviews of the authentic piece, this figure is most definitely authentic and matches the video reviews in every way. I will say this though, this particular rendering of Goku in Super Saiyan God form is colored much more darkly (skin tone) than the rest of the Mast Stars Piece figures I have. It's a refreshing look on him though and I like it.

I can't believe what i just received.. i can give this an infinite amount of starts if it's possible. They are not kidding with the quality of this one. Worth every penny and it is mandatory for any Dragonball fan. Buy it NOW!!! NOW!

I like the figure it has nice details but mine wont stand up straight it leans forward cause the bottom of the boot isnt properly attached so i cant really display it where id like to which is unfortunate but it shouldnt stop anyone from from getting it! Maybe you get one that can stand on its own...

Just received this figure, came just like the picture described. Figure has a nice "heft" to it, sturdy, stands easily on it's own, durable plastic, and the picture doesn't do the figure justice. The airbrush tones are subtle but very well done. I'd recommend for any DBZ fan!
