Undecided
Hayabusa requested a review:The material is much different than my Hayabusa wraps that are around 8 years old. My hands are too wide to use thicker wraps with gloves. I lose circulation quickly after forcing gloves over them. These are better for me in that regard. That said, I do have wraps from this company that are around 8 years old. I still use them. They’ve outlasted three heavy bags, a stacked tire “bag”, and various other pieces of equipment. They were made better than this set. The attention to detail is better on the old set. The thumb loops were sewn in cleanly versus just haphazardly thrown on. They look better today than the new set. The older set also has much more elasticity. Much more. The new set has next to none. No stretch on the “perfect stretch”. The thin fabric and low elasticity means they have to be wrapped differently for knuckle padding. I usually use wraps without gloves and I am still undecided about whether I even like these. But they would work better with gloves. This new set came with a hole in one wrap. And it may have been heated to seal the edges, which would typically indicate awareness of the defect. Unless they go through something that heats the fabric after they’re formed. Regardless, one came with a hole. That wrap also has a cut on the edge in a different spot. So technically two holes. The price was too low to deal with returning them so I washed them and hung them up to dry. No change to the holes and I can sew them up. Given the price, they are likely a retired model and this review won’t mean much anyway. They say “this side up” just inside the thumb loop. I never considered that an issue since the loops are sewn with an up side and down side that is obvious. Seems silly. Some people may like it though. My main Hayabusa gloves are about to be hung up for good. I have a new pair picked out but these wraps have made me reconsider. I like Hayabusa. I always have because their quality is/was superb. That’s why these get three stars instead of 1 or 2. They may be a beneficial purchase for other reasons, though.

So disappointed!
Disappointed after seeing all the great reviews. The length on one is off by about an inch, which wouldn't be a big deal if the Velcro loop part had been sewn on in the proper place. The loop section was sewn on about 1 1/2" too far back, so when it comes time to connect the Velcro pieces at the end of the wrap only about 1/2" connects and I'm left with a big flap of Velcro just hanging out at my wrist. Sure, I could unstitch it, move it where it needs to be and sew it back in place, but (crazy me) I was under the impression I purchased an item that should have been correct in the first place. Also, I can already see where the material (at the stitched seams) is starting to weaken from pulling the Velcro apart...I've only used these about 10 times. I had a cheap pair of Everlasts that have lasted well over 100 uses, before it started to show the same breakdown. The only reason for 1 star: I loved the color and the material was soft...but maybe that's the reason it's starting to break down so quickly. Otherwise it would have been no stars (if that were even an option).Seriously, QC on this can't possibly be that difficult. If the Velcro is more than 1/2" from the logo, move it closer!

Hayabusa Perfect Stretch vs Ringside Mexican Style
I purchased the Yellow Ringside wraps (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000NZKFMA) for $6.99 with Prime free shipping and the Hayabusa Dark Orchid wraps for $9.99 with free shipping from the seller.I chose these two because they seemed to be the most affordable (including shipping prices) and seemed to have the best reviews. In case this matters: I am a female, 5'5", and about 155lbs who trains in muay thai at least 3 days a week. I have had these wraps for a week. I will update this if anything noteworthy comes about.Ringside: 4 out 5 StarsPros: sturdy velcro, one side is clearly marked "This Side Down" (although that doesn't really matter to me, a lot of people like that), and overall, pretty comfortable.Cons: I wish the velcro was a little thinner than the width of the wrap, cuz the scratchiness can be annoying.Hayabusa: 5 out of 5Pros: Sturdy Velcro, one side is clearly marked "This Side Up", and EXTREMELY comfortable.Cons: The velcro that grips (the scratchy part) usually does not line up as evenly with the soft part as you may want, due to the elasticity of the wrap. While half of my velcro still connects, I wish that portion was measured out, better.Overall:They are both much better than my cheap, "free" ones I have. They don't fold or crease as easily as the thinner, cheaper wraps, but I also plan on hand-washing them. The Hayabusa gets 5 out of 5 simply due to the comfort level. I put on the Ringside and trained with them, first, and thought, "These are pretty good." I put on the Hayabusa and thought, "Oh my God, these are the most comfortable things I have ever worn (on my hands)!" Definitely worth the extra $3!

Very comfortable
These hand wraps are well made haven’t had any issues with them. They are very comfortable to wear and easy to use. They are durable and have frayed or anything.

Stained, dirty, full of holes.
I was very displeased with the state of these hand wraps. When I unrolled them they had dark stains and holes in them and even a spot of what looked like blood. I had no choice but to use them as they were the only wraps I had with me training the other night, and unfortunately I didn't unroll them until I was already at the gym. I actually left them on accident and one of the gym owners washed them for me. The picture I'm posting is after they were washed so the spot that looked like blood is now gone and the staining is just a little lighter. The holes obviously remain. To be honest though Iiked the quality of the wraps themselves and will probably seek out a more reputable seller to purchase another set by this brand.

They are (UPDATE: MORE THAN) OK
I would have given these wraps three stars were it not for the price (CAD10) - I realize that grey clearly is labelled grey, but the picture is somewhat misleading - the wraps look almost white on the picture, while they are actually darker. Second - stitching is misaligned, velcro stitching doesn't look very durable either. I have old Hayabusa hand wraps and those are still going strong, I doubt these will last as long. Finally there were stainson the handwraps when I first opened the package. Functionality wise - they are fine and stretchy and everything, it's just the quality that should be improved.UPDATE: After decent amount of abuse I'm bumping these up to five stars - in spite of all my criticisms above, which I still think are valid, I have to commend the durability and price compared to competition - these are a better value than anything else on amazon.ca.

Good quality wraps.
I have smaller hands, and these are a bit long. Some choices on length would be nice. I do like the feel of the fabric, and the velcro and stitching is well done. I have washed them in a bag and i did notice a little blue afterwards on the bag, I did not see any on my hands. I ironed them prior to rolling them back up. You need to be careful of the heat as it will melt and watch the velcro that will melt too. I learn everything the hard way. I'll keep looking for a better fit for me but these will be my go to for now.

Working well but one wrap shorter than the other
These are my first pair of hand wraps. Bought them at a great price and feel they're doing the job just fine. I'm giving a 4-star rating because one of the wraps is a couple inches shorter than the other. Still long enough to wrap my hands without a problem but it is annoying to have to wrap your hands differently.

Happy
Work really well, keep my hands fairly dry and help my gloves fit comfortably. They get all creased up in the wash making them a nuisance to roll, but they do the job. First pair so I can't compare to other brands.

Color bleeds in laundry
I bought 4 different colors of Hayabusa Handwraps. Of the 4, this red color one bleeds its colors a lot during laundry. Surprisingly, color hasn't faded yet, even after 4 washes. Also, the thumb loops aren't the same in diameter. A little disappointed.
