It’s a hilarious game about crazy family members and even crazier situations. Perfect for game nights with friends and family! 4 or more players.

Hilarious, BUT NOT for kids!!!!
This game is absolutely hilarious, BUT NOT for kids!!!! The sexual innuendo is inevitable, so be forewarned before playing with anyone other than adults.

Not as funny as advertised
My family didn't like it. Turned out to be boring to us

R Rated, not for anyone younger than 21!
I wish there would’ve been a warning on the box or in the description about the game that said it bordered on raunchy. I took this to my in-laws for Christmas and it was a little too raw for the group! 😮

Not so funny
It’s not our family’s humor - especially for the teens.

Great teenager appeal. Fun and easy to play.
I’m a bit mixed on this one. My kids are 12 and 15 and it’s hard work getting them off YouTube to play family games so the fact that this went down so well is a big point in it’s favour. You have one pack of set up cards such as “When Grandma saw the new baby she said......” and 5 packs of answer cards with finishing statements on such as “ you expect me to eat this?” Or “somebody’s breath smells like cat litter”You have 7 cards each and choose the funniest one to put down when the reader reads out the setup. The reader then reads them out and judges which is funniest. You play on till someone has 5 cards and is the winner. It’s a simple idea but it did get them laughing and so simple that it takes no time to learn. However, I did feel like I had to go through the cards first myself and fish out a few that I felt were inappropriate. The humour and the language is very American and I found quite a few of the cards quite misogynistic. “I’d rather pee on an electric fence than wake up next to her” “Here’s a crazy idea, try keeping your legs together”. I can see it’s a tricky line to tread, making teenagers laugh without antagonising parents and even though I’ve taken about 20 out there are still hundreds of cards left.I’m aware kids are prob exposed to much worse on YouTube but I still feel happier with the self-edited game. I think they’ll enjoy playing this with their friends and It’s relatively small. I wish the cards had a better organisation system as they get very messy as there’s so many of them.

Like CAH but funny nonetheless
If you’ve ever played Cards Against Humanity then this is based on exactly the same concept but is nowhere near as risqué.All players are dealt out 7 yellow ‘response’ cards whilst the red ‘scenario’ cards are placed in a pile on the table. Each round players take it in turns to select and read out a scenario card and then the remaining players look through their hand of response cards and select what they think is a funny response and these are then all handed over to the first player to read each one out in turn. The one he/she deems the funniest wind that hand and the red scenario card goes to the player who submitted that funniest response as ‘one point’ and players take another yellow card from the pile to replenish their hand of 7.Play then moves around the table with the next person reading out a red card and so on until one player has won 5 red cards. When we first opened this game up and started reading the instructions, we immediately thought “ oh, it’s just a rip-off of CAH” and yes, that’s exactly what it is, but nonetheless we really enjoyed playing it. Some of the scenarios are still a bit on the rude side so you still wouldn’t play this with younger kids. The box says 14+, I’d say most 12 year olds and over would be okay with the level of rudeness in these cards vs CAH which is definitely 14+ !!!

Family friendly version of Cards Against Humanity
The ‘Relative Insanity’ card game is a cleaner version of Cards Against Humanity. But it is perhaps unfair to compare the two; they are made for a very different audience. I could never play Cards Against Humanity with my kids or parents, but Relative Insanity bridges the generational divide perfectly.Gone are the dark, foul-mouthed quips and edgy satirical humour that you get with Cards Against Humanity, which have been replaced with more gentile jokes, often at granny’s expense. The game relies on the players to be more creative to get a laugh, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but those who have played Cards Against Humanity may find themselves longing for ‘Vigorous Jazz Hands’ or ‘Altar Boys’.But if you can put comparisons aside, Relative Insanity is actually a very good game. It’s easy to play, inclusive, frequently funny and, with over 400 punchline cards, it can be played time and time again.

OMG this is soooo funny!
First of all I was expecting small box but we've received huge box full of cards, 400 punch line (yellow) cards to be exact plus 100 set up cards (red). I was very happy because of that as there are many card games there on the market that sell for 20£ but give you 1 pack of cards. The game is so easy to play!Deal 7 yellow punch line card each and pull 1 set up card (red). Each played picks what they think is the funniest punch line and you all agree which one is the funniest.Whoever wins keeps the red card as a point, whoever collects 5 red cards wins.I wanted to say that it doesn't have to be family only game. You can play with friends based on who creates funniest punchline. We've had lots of laughs while playing the game. Some rounds do not come out great but most are a lot of fun!Little kids won't always get the punchline hence game is recommended for 14+Highly recommended!Edit: we have found better way of playing that game: we pull one red card and spread all yellow cards on the table. We do not deal 7 cards, we make them all available to choose from. This way more of punch lines are funny, and sometimes they are killers hahahha
