Everything you need in life and more...
The box set includes the five albums that have given Pantera their name for brutality and sheer anger. Cowboys From Hell, Vulgar Display of Power, Far Beyond Driven, The Great Southern Trendkill and Reinventing the Steel. These all come on individual coloured vinyls. Not only do you get them, you also recieve a coloured 7" single that includes two songs. "Piss", was included on the deluxe edition of Vulgar Display of Power CD finds itself on vinyl for the first time. On side B is a song that was featured in the film "Dracula 2000" called "Avoid the Light". This is a very interesting song that consists of Pantera's trademark groove guitar with also phases of very nice clean vocals from Phil. Instrumental sections are very nice and build the song up very well. A very good addition to the box set. The box is very sturdy and has great artwork on the front and back. Clear text and deep colours make it stunning. The vinyls themselves are not remastered or on 180g vinyl...even though the sticker on plastic wrapper suggests so.Overall this box set is an absolute joy to listen to. It's absolutely ideal for current Pantera fans of course but is a perfect set to get for anyone that hasn't checked them out...because if you haven't....you need to. Buy this!!!!!

Edited Trendkill should really minus 1 star
This should really be 4 stars due to the edited Trendkill, but I do love the package on the whole.Whilst the vinyl Isn't 180g as stated on the sticker, the records sound great. The additional single runs at 33 but still has good sound.I only have original vinyls for Cowboys and Vulgar. Sleeves, inner(Vulgar) and labels are near enough spot on.There is no lyric sheet for Driven. Maybe I have an erroneous copy. All in all it's very good, although the loss of Suicide Note part 1 doesn't equate to 'complete'. Why remove the outro of Floods? The fade back in of Sandblast Skin is also missing. Trendkill is a personal favourite so it's a bit painful. Both Trendkill and Driven are long for single vinyl lps so editing is understandable, but shouldn't be marketed as otherwise. I'd have paid more for a double full version.Driven is complete and has tight, narrow grooves, therefore losing some bass, especially on side 2, but I have a knob for that.Volume is a little low too. Just turn it up!

A piece of thrash history!
When growing up in late 80's and then 90's, for me this was when music was at its best.Metallica, Megadeth, Maiden, Anthrax, to name some of the big players, and then there was Pantera - aggressive, punchy, loud.Keeping this review short because if you are like me you already know Pantera and are buying this to possibly get all the albums onto CD rather than cassettes. If your young and just getting into metal and trying other bands out, have anger issues and want to listen to something aggressive to mosh along to, then give this a try.

Good albums bar the Trendkill edit, the slipcase is a chore though
Five albums on coloured vinyl, plus a 7", plus downloads, all in a box. The albums are pretty enough but one is edited as you'll have seen elsewhere. The 7" is fine. My only real gripe is with the box - it's a slip case, and it's a tight fit - getting all the albums in there without snagging on the inside edge of the cover wrap (where it's wrapped inside, it's lifted a bit and stops the sleeves sliding in) is a faff.
