Thyax: Thyroid Vitamins, Hypothyroidism and Hashimotos Thyroiditis Supplement Helps Stimulate Natural Thyroid Hormone Levels, Natural Herbs Improve Levels T3 & T4 To Aid In Restoring Function

I've been on prescription Synthroid for over a decade and fortunately my dosage has never been increased from 50mcg. My PCP has always recommended a Thyroid Supplement to ensure my thyroid remains as healthy as possible. I've taken various brands over the years since I get my TSH-T4 & T3 checked quarterly ( I also work at an integrative health clinic). I've used this particular brand for a year now and personally prefer it over all others. My blood work results are optimal, my energy levels are awesome (I'm also a competitive athlete). Consider it a vitamin specifically for your thyroid.

I didn't notice any benefits from the use of this product.

Almost a month on Thyax. Half dose has greatly improved energy and stress symptoms. Plan to continue! Does impact belly fat... At this point it adds it. May try 3 a day to gauge changes.

Not for me. I have Hashimoto's and was looking for a supplement to help with the quality of life aspect of it. Although I believed it to be way too expensive, Thyax had good reviews and I decided to give it a try.I started out with one capsule a day, the plan being to increase gradually to the suggested serving size (4 capsules/day) and observe the effects.First impression: the capsules are very large and extremely hard to swallow. No noticeable change in level of energy for the first 10 days or so; urine turned a bright yellow but that's normal (probably B12); my acne (which had cleared out one year ago when I started treatment and changed my diet) exploded with a vengeance, and I had trouble falling asleep at night.After the first 10 days I increased to two capsules/day. No significant change in level of energy and acne still a problem; maybe less brain fog (or maybe a placebo effect). Something in Thyax must have a blood thinning effect - quite scary, really. The reason I stopped taking it after a total of five weeks is the weight gain: I gained 4 lbs in just over a month. Unacceptable. It took more than five years for my Hashimoto's to be diagnosed, during which my weight kept crawling up. Once diagnosed, I started treatment (Levothyroxin and vitamin D3 only) and changed my diet, and lost 43 lbs in 13 months. You can see why gaining 4 lbs in one month (at half the recommended serving size) is unacceptable.I am left with more than half a jar of very expensive multivitamins to put in the trash.

I felt really energetic for the first 3 days of taking it. Now I don't see any difference when I'm taking it. Probably I will know the answer when I'll finish this bottle, if it really helps or not.

I have used this for years, although I had purchased it from Progressive Health where it was very expensive, even when you purchased multiple bottles. I am so glad to find it on Amazon for this price! I had actually tried to find other thyroid products that would be cheaper, but I never found one that works as well as this. I had not used it for nearly a year. Went back on it, and within a month, I have been feeling better, have more energy, and have lost some weight. It definitely works for me!

I never write reviews......but I am taking this opportunity to let progressive health know you have truly created an awesome product. I felt the difference when I began using this product, BUT even moreso the loss I felt when I ran out. I will be re-ordering as soon as I can, and will probably be on the reoccurring plan monthly. Beautiful product.

I wish I could say this helped me, but I couldn't tell any difference :(. It's possible my Thyroid isn't the problem even though I have a lot of the symptoms. According to other reviews, it made a difference to a lot of people, so again, maybe my Thyroid isn't causing my problems.
