Chicago Pneumatic CP7115 Compact Air Powered Needle Scaler, 12 x 1/8", 4,000 BPM

The media could not be loaded. Nothing to dislike. I am 78, and do not have access to an auto lift. My 22 year old pickup is rusty and requires my attention prior to it’s state inspection to remain on the road. This year, my third under the vehicle went well thanks to the CP pneumatic scaler tool. I was , this year, able to remove rust from my trucks frame and running gear in a couple hours, on my back. The CP scaler, due to it’s compact dimensions, light weight and scaling ability, made this old man’s unpleasant annual task FAR less of a problem. Works great. Hope one of my adult children appreciate it’s value in years to come.

I am the Maintenance Supervisor for a fleet of 26 concrete mixer trucks. We use this little guy almost every day of the week. It is currently running its third set of needles and it still runs just as strong as when it was new. We oil it daily and have conditioned air to supply it, all important things to keep any air tool live. I have to say if it dies tomorrow I would buy another and not think twice that I haven't gotten all of my money out of it and some.

Only 4 states for durability because I haven't used a whole lot yet but haven't had any issues so far. Compact size fits in tighter places than my co workers scaler. I used mostly for cleaning slag off welds.

Bought this to restore a truck frame for a frame off restoration project. I chose this for the tight areas. For 12 pins it works just as good as the 19 pin models and can really detail the fine areas. It's lightweight, compact and good on air consumption. It's made in Taiwan and looks like a very nicely designed and quality manufactured tool. Definitely did not regret choosing this over the others. Would highly recommend.

I used this for removing scale rust off metal surface. Happy with the results.

Nice and quaint little tool to use for D scaling metals built up of rust. The only thing is that the max air psi it can handle is 90psi. You have to get the big heavy ones that can handle more psi in your Compressor line.
