Edgar Cayce's Story of Jesus

Fascinating
This book shines a light on the purpose of spirit and civilization; the idea of an immaculate conception no longer seems like just a fairy tale to me.

I once found myself sitting at the scene of the last super throgh an OBE...
What I truly appreciate about this collection of readings is that the author put an immense amount of effort into the collecting of these excerpts. This task was not for the faint of heart. I found myself on a quest to know more about the life of Jesus because I myself have had the ability to astral project, channel at times, and pull in much abstract information from the cosmos non-locally. Without any real faith in religion or Jesus, I once found myself sitting at the scene of the last super (through a very real out of body experience while in the waking state) and was transported to this very point in time. I was able to look upon the face of this man. I remain astonished that four times now I have seen this man, and without having any real belief in him during this lifetime. As many know, the Edgar Cayce library in Virginia is home to thousands of his readings - much of it has never been printed officially. One can't exactly buy the entire library in print, and so, the author went on a quest to discover as many occurrences as he could where Jesus or people who have ever been associated with Jesus, were mentioned. This is the most comprehensive list of readings from Cayce available in the market, without all the commentary. The author found that over the course of Cayce's life, hundreds of people who are in the incarnated state today which once lived in those times had at some point spent time with this man. These people came to Cacye looking for answers because of some deep familiarity they couldn't place. They themselves had no idea who they were until Cayce told them. This even includes a handful of the apostles.I want to take a moment and note that spiritual fraud is everywhere these days. There are 100's of claimed Andrews, 100's of Thomas's, and 100's of Magdalenes. The exhaustive list of "pretend masters" is in abundance on every street corner, as was truthfully prophesied during the last years of this age. Yes, most of the old gang are still around today somewhere out there - but the likelihood that we have any idea where they are presently is very small. They would have passed on since their time learning who they were from Cayce. You won't find them writing books or starting multi-tier pyramid scheme business efforts turning spirituality into an advertising campaign. This book offers 90% readings concerning the sojourns of various clients, and their tie ups with Jesus. Many of these random people were just exposed to him at one point or another albeit for only five minutes during the lifetime, yet the profound impact it had on their soul survived the last two mellienia. Most of these people hold no particular important role from those times. You will find mostly clues in these collections giving us deep insight into the man Jesus was and the impact he had on the people of these times - which is enormous. There are in depth explanations/descriptions of the last supper, crucifixion, and the resurrection. You will also read in depth information about the Essenes. Much was done to prepare for the coming of this man..Lastly, Edgar Cayce confirms some HUGE things I would have never thought in a million years were true - the resurrection was real - very real. Also, Jesus really was born an immaculate conception.. My best guess is that the Magdalene, being in the female orientation, was subjected to the laws of the time, and of course women were not regarded as being people to access the divine the same way men could. Heck, to this day they aren't. Instead, we have superficial versions of female gurus who go on Oprah to sell their books and call it "female empowerment";. The world has yet to accept the divine power of the true face of the female logos. I am only sorry that Mary wasn't able to be the true teacher she was meant to be because of sexism, likely. There are many secrets which persist around Magdalene today and I propose that the world may never know until the time is right - not even Cayce. Not even the "experts" with the fancy titles..This book is VERY worth your time - you can trust Edgar Cayce. READ THIS!

Very thorough research and intriguing
I’m impressed with the amount of research and organizing that Furst put in to complete this book. Upon reading the content, you will begin to notice how all of the readings regarding Jesus, his family members, and lifetime acquaintances are scattered throughout 14,246 of Cayce’s readings. To search all of Edgar’s readings for content related only to Jesus must have taken a great deal of time and effort. Now if you believe that Edgar Cayce was perfect in all of his readings, Gladys Davis was perfect as his stenographer and transcriber, Furst was perfect in writing this book, and his editors were perfect, then you have a good start toward believing Jesus was real and not just a mythological story created to promote love and peace. If there are any errors—since we are dealing with humans and our human imperfections—then some of the content should logically come into question. The bible itself—in my opinion—is a very questionable piece of literature. I believe that many of the bible stories were heavily influenced by alien sightings and interactions. In my research of Cayce and numerous other metaphysical and occult sources, it is my understanding that negative forces also get to have a say through channels, prophets, and writers. The bible, and Edgar Cayce, would not be an exception.Another interesting view to take while reading this book is this: John Van Auken, Director of the Edgar Cayce Foundation, does a great job explaining that Cayce’s readings regarding the Book of Revelations were not about Armageddon and the second coming of Jesus, the Book of Revelations was about opening and/or utilizing the energy centers in the mind and body.If this is the case, and the bible is not to be taken literally, word for word, fact, or history, then is the story of Jesus to be taken as real? Is it possible that the story of Jesus is really a story and not factual history? I recommend reading the book and making your own conclusions. I—being an imperfect human—can only surmise myself what is fact and what is fiction when it comes to Jesus.

Life Changing. If your Spirit has brought you here. get the book.
Life Changing. If your Spirit has brought you here. get the book.As a boy raised Catholic I had a decade of rebellion in my 20's through college indoctrinated to believe what all my professor stated as fact. Never once questioning the visible facts- until I started to question these world wise. For what they told me never reflected in my after college life. Something was missing. Since my eyes have failed me and apparently many other millions of people in a better more perfect understanding of the World- i decided to close my eyes. Literally.I proclaimed, "if the answers I seek are not in the visible world then they MUST be in the UNSEEN formate (not visible to the eyes).Well; the rest for me is kinda history. I at first couldn't believe my luck in finding the Edgar Cayce material! Full of complete transcript of a man able to see into the Unseen! I figured if his transcripts have survived this long there must be evidence for a better understand of the world. What absolutely Crushed me was the fact that I was trying to find answers to questions when the ANSWER where right inside me!Raised Catholic, I thought like many young minds today that the stories and sacred parables where for the old and sick- I was completely wrong. This book not only confirmed my childhood beliefs; It helped me be a better son, friend, and brother not because it conflicted with Christianity ON THE CONTRARY it solidified the Word of CHRIST into my heart. The book at times literally recites the Word of Christ word for word scene by scene with details lost to history; regained only through faith. Stop looking. Pause and when you are ready come back to the TRUTH!!!

wonderful
I have only just started this book and am finding it absolutely wonderful. It will take me some time to read through and assimilate all that is contained therein. I have long awaited a bridge between what I have heard in church and the experiences which I have had with the spirit world. I am incredibly excited about what I will read, but do so with an open mind, ready to take in what I feel in my soul is right and to discard that which I feel that I cannot accept. The only regret I have is that I bought this in paperback.
