Paddle Leash

These leashes do exactly what they are supposed to. keep your paddle from getting away. The quality is outstanding and they are attractive as well. They don't retract or recoil, they just work. They are the perfect length and do not get in the way. The only negative, if this kind of thing bothers you, is that the leash slides up and down the paddle. Doesn't bother Me. My wife put it outside her drip ring and let's it drag along beside the kayak.Works either way. Shipping us very fast.I definitely would recommend.

Use these for my fishing rods also, they work like they are suppose to and seem pretty durable so far, bought them this spring and have fished in my kayak all summer! If you don't want to spend alot of money these are great

Absolute garbage. It literally broke the 2nd time I used it. The 1st time was in fresh water. The 2nd, salt water. The thing was kept dry. And I never put any undue stress on it. Next time I feel like throwing away $8. I will go to the bar.

The end piece and side came off the the first time I used them. I ended up just tying a slip knot in the cord and putting the handle in it. I also found that if it is attached to the one end of the paddle and the side of the kayak there was a lot less tangle issues.

Okay, so I felt a little silly buying this leash for my paddle. I'd never lost a paddle before so it felt like I was being dorky and over-cautious. But I also did not want to be in the middle of the lake one day watching my paddle float away. Well this handy line is cheap insurance. Very sturdy so it will last for many seasons. It attaches easily on both ends and remains secure. And the length is perfect to not interfere with paddling and allow for enough movement when loading/unloading. The plastic clip is a little hard to use but I prefer that to one that might not securely fasten. I still feel a little dorky but I know that I'll always have my paddle to get home! :)

Inexpensive, well made, and it's not going anywhere once attached. I'm a Velcro addict, but I don't like it for this application. I think that this will have greater longevity. Length is way adequate and doesn't get in the way of paddling. As someone else mentioned, it takes a little patience to get it off of a pad eye, but it is secure while on. I might pitch for a couple more for fishing rods.

Works great love how it is a rope and not a bungee material. My only gripe is they don't specify color schemes or give you the option to choose. I bought two leaches one came like the picture and the other was a bright orange yellow. I like the patter, but was not expecting it to be completely different.

My husband and I have been kayaking for years and picked up a paddle leash .... you never know. We bought these for my daughter's two kayaks because they were new kayakers and thought it would be a great idea for them. They love them and are perfect to save the day if needed. You don't want to see your paddle to floating away!
