Review: Knives out is a good film all round thanks. - Knives out is a good film all round it has a good story line a good cast and plenty of action me and my partner both enjoyed this film thank you. Review: Delightful! - I enjoyed this movie. It isn't easy to make a good movie with an ensemble cast but the writer/director did it, giving enough information on each character (except for the youngest boy) to add to their part in the story. The murder plot takes you to the very end which a good "who done it" does, you don't know until the very end who did it and why. I did not mind Daniel Craig's southern gentleman accent, good or bad as it was. His character was essential to the story, was multi dimensional and smarter than he appeared. This is just delightful entertainment. It seemed they used some of the same props as another great "who done it", Sleuth and incorporating Sherlock Holme's words, "Watson game is afoot". The movie does NOT take itself seriously but entertainingly with each character entertaining the audience with their drama. If you enjoy murder mysteries but not goriness, this movie is for you and I recommend it.

A fun intrigue, worth watching
Interesting whodunnit. Warning - vague spoilers ahead. The cover and the cast lull you into thinking this is like an Agatha Christie with a dozen possible killers with interwoven intrigues and alibis. Well, it's not quite that. There's an ensemble cast but no ensemble plot; the story is really just about a couple of people (plus the victim of course) and the rest just feel like bystanders, although they're cleverly cast bystanders who act their parts well. The cinematography, sets, and sound are all competent enough. I enjoyed watching it, aside from my quibble about the plot.

Favourite mystery film in years
Knives Out is such good fun. A clever, stylish, funny and well made mystery that is watchable over and over again with a brilliant cast of actors. The more times I watch it, the more I appreciate things or I see I missed in previous viewings. Knives Out is made all the better and stands out from other movies due to the Thrombey family drama, which provides the laugh out loud moments and suspicion to be rife. Definitely recommend to my fellow amateur sleuths! Especially because Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig are set to make a sequel.

The best 'Whodunnit' Film that i have ever seen !!
In my opinion this is probably the best 'whodunnit' that i have ever seen - beautifully written and superbly acted - with twists and turns to keep you wondering who did what - set in a beautiful location too, i have watched this many times now - and i never tire of it - It has a fantastic supporting cast and in my opinion again it's Daniel Craig's best film (he plays a private detective - so well acted throughout) I wish the scriptwriters could make a series of these with Daniel Craig as sleuth !!! A Beautiful film !!!

A very enjoyable film
We have watched it a couple of times now and it is great to see not only famous names in there but also Daniel Craig playing a completely different character. I would highly recommend it and that is why I bought the DVD so we can watch it to our hearts content!

Not my cup of coffee.
This is a very well made Who-dunit with professionals who are serious about their work. Everybody performs as well as can be expected and the movie looks good. The twists and turns are many and that is the one flaw of this film; it outsmarts itself. In the effort to confuse the viewer, the end result is that the most likely person to do it actually turns out to be the one who did it. The way there is entertaining enough, but this style of movie isn't for me.

Should not be sold to North American clients. It plays on a computer but not on TV. It is not recognized by our DVD players here (No disc, or wrong region). I did not know this. I learned something...
