Pleasant Savory Green Tea
Out of the different green teas to drink as is, this one is more enjoyable as a blend. It blends well with a certain creamy, floral oolong. It does not have the same notes as a Dragon Well, Ti Guan Yin, Mao Feng, Spring Snail and others that you can leave as is.The "Hay Cheun" ( 熙 春 - splendid / radiant Spring) green tea does have that Spring season note. It is not as light as the sen cha. Not a stronger grass taste as a ban cha. Green tasting, but pleasant and easy to drink. Definitely a savory note that pairs well with chicken and seafood. Due to that, the "sweet" part of the tea is not the tea, but the water. If you start off with a more concentrated tea, it taste sweeter as you dilute it more and more.Unlike other teas that are naturally sweet and not as sweet as you dilute it, this one has the light sweetness from the water. It's savory enough that adding more water brings the light sweetness forward. The tea itself isn't sweet. If you enjoy sen or ban cha, this is different. Easier to drink than the ban cha which is what many brands use that are labeled green tea. Not a bad tea. It's a matter of preference. It doesn't taste have the usual Japanese green tea notes that are usually more Earthy green. Some do share similarities such as the Dragon Well (most prized green tea in China) and Gyokuro (most prized in Japan that is not a mat cha).Depending if you prefer the astringency in any tea, the best way is to cold brew as a form of gentle extraction and then add hot or cold water to have a more subtle sweetness and lack of astringency. Never go wrong with a concentrated cold extraction after a few hours or over night and then dilute to your liking. Time frame of steeping depends on how concentrated you want it and make most of tea. Best results is over night unless you leave room temp. consistent and cool enough in less time.

Good choice
Another selection I tried to find the green tea for me. It has a darker color than Davidson tea's with a stronger flavor which I enjoy. price was right with Prime. I brew it through my coffee maker with no problem.

At last I found my favorite tea at a great price.
I first dicsovered Young Hyson Green Tea in Williamsburg, Virginia. I purchased two 4 ounce packs to bring home at $10.00 each. I found a pound of the tea on Amazon for less which makes me very happy.
