UPDATE: Review rating lowered to 2 stars. Wifi has been cutting in and out. I’ve decided to return this camera and that it’s worth spending a few more dollars and getting the Eufy camera. The software has not been improved on the Zeus and it’s so bad it ruins the product. Eufy software is light years ahead of the Zeus and is so user friendly it easily justifies the higher cost.Original Review:I love the simplicity of the product by only having to screw it into an existing flood light fixture. This could be a 5 star product if the app didn't suck! If you have a Eufy or Ring doorbell and have been spoiled by how user friendly their software is and you buy this product......you will understand what I mean. It's poorly laid out and difficult to understand what all the options are for. The picture goes into landscape mode and stays there even when you turn your phone. To get out of the picture you click on a button that looks like a power button.....what?! Trying to figure out the recording setup is near impossible. I just wanted the camera to record when it senses motion and still can't figure that out so I've just turned off recording completely. The camera was recording non stop when I set it up so I have thirty 1 minute recordings. There is no way to simply delete them like you can with Eufy and every other security device. The camera field of view is not as wide as most. Picture quality is decent. The hardware feels well built, the concept is great......but the app sucks! I recommend firing all your IT employees and hire whoever designed the Eufy software.

I wanted to use this product outside to see my back yard & garage. This item is not ONVIF compliant and there is no way to find out the MAC address which appears to be hidden when pulling up DHCP info on router. So this item was pretty much useless to me as it also cannot be used in a motion detector socket. The picture quality was good. If you have a simple adjustable socket on a porch that is facing downwards this would be perfect to view on the app for the phone. My purpose was to use with other apps; there are no settings in the app to turn ONVIF on and when I looked at available ONVIF devices on my Hikvision DVR it was not listed. So back it went.

1. Good Image quality2. This is more like CCTV, records all the time on 16GB SD card in camera that is accessed from your phone so no cloud service fees. (Older videos are flushed automatically) Saves about 1-2 days worth of videos. You can download what you want on your camera.3. It does have a feature where it records with motion but I have not explored that.4. Good customer service when I had Q.Here are suggestions:1. For installation, I had Q but the manual not very good. It would be nice if there is detail video on YouTube.2. Camera light comes on when I switch ON/Off button quickly. It would be nice to turn it on/off from phone. Also would be nice to have motion and light sensor for light so it is on only at night and with motion.3. It has features where it sends alerts to SMTP/FTP servers. Those features are not practical. It should have a feature to send alert/picture to phone.I highly recommend this camera. I tested this for over 2-3 weeks and plan to buy more.

Great product, but awful software to manage the videos.Picture quality was great, and I was highly impressed with the video quality, although I would have liked to see a 2-way mic. Apparently, you can talk to the person on the other end (threw the phone application), but they can’t respond to you, or at least you can’t hear them responding to you…intelligent design!Although I was unimpressed with the software, I did like the fact that it was quite easy to setup video recording and picture snapping times, although finding the menus on the IP address could have been more user friendly for sure.I connected my ftp server to the camera, and while the camera backed the videos up to the site perfectly, there wasn’t a player or a set of codecs that would allow playing that specific video format rendered by default (except for the phone app), which I later found out by calling support that the videos saved to the server can’t be decoded except by the phone. (Note: This should have been stated in the advertisement so no one would end up wasting their time or money purchasing your product.) Of course, once the files are on the FTP server/site, they can no longer be viewed by phone…or any app for that matter. (Then why exactly is there an option to connect an FTP server/site if it can’t be utilized to begin with?)I ended up sending the product back since I can’t use it at all for anything!

Lo que me encantó de esta cámara es que es muy fácil de programar y de instalar sin necesidad de correr ningún cable y tiene buen alcanse de wifi, las únicas cosas en contra es que no es muy fácil ponerla en diferentes ángulos, y que la calidad de la cámara no es muy buena, pero por el precio de la cámara creo que esta muy bien y nunca tendrás problemas para conectarte

This floodlight camera is great inside out—the device itself has pretty good features and is backed up by an easy-to-use app. First of all, installation is easy. Just turned off the power, replaced the light, turned on the switch, installed the app on my phone and followed the steps. Pairing the camera is also quite easy. The camera itself creates its own wifi “network” that you join initially through the app that you download on your phone. Once connected, you go through the steps to join your home wifi network, and then you’re in business. The video quality is very crisp and detailed. People, animals, and objects are easily recognizable. Live video monitoring is very good working. No hiccups or delays (very minor). Night vision is very good. Very sensitive motion detection. The LED lights are not that strong but strong enough for my application. I think I'll get one more to install on the other corner in my house. I like the way it works.
