Great textbook and as expected in the reviews

Good condition

The price on Amazon was about 40% cheaper then MBS Direct, the preferred vendor for my daughter's HS ... and 2 day shipping was "free" since I have my Prime Account. MB not only wanted more for the book, shipping & handling was like $10. I hate when they show a handling fee. Doesn't anything tangible get handled? As bad as the airlines these days. Hope the supermarkets don't follow suit ... adding a handling fee on your groceries at checkout.

I received this book fairly quickly via snail mail!! Which I was pleased, watching my budget...didn't want to pay for more shipping and handling costs...so thought I would just wait and be patient......surprisingly ...received the book in a timely manor. Thank you.

I just started using this book for the 2012-13 school year. So far, its been very informative, enlightening, and concise.

School requirements

This book is required reading for Catechist in my area. I give the book itself 3 stars, but because I had to read it getting the book used at a fraction of the new price worked well for me. Peace, Susan

a fantastic resource for breaking down the catholic teaching on social justice in a way that is positive, loving, inspiring and well argued - it would make a lot of sense to offer this as a course, as the americans do - there is a lot here worth discussing, with relevant case studies.
