for the price, a nice little timer
I've bought about a dozen of these from a local Family Dollar store (everything's a dollar). So far, one was a dud (battery OK, timer not) and another, after being used for several months, refused to let me unscrew the battery compartment. But I buy the batteries (Maxell LR41) from [...] for [...]/pack of ten, and at a dollar/timer I can afford to lose one occasionally.I run my life by these things! Some come with magnets, some without (I also buy magnets from the dollar store and glue them onto the backs of the timers when needed).

Too expensive for what you get
Mine lasted very little. If you think about it, a dollar isn't cheap when you spend the time at the store checking it out, then fumbling with it later to figure out why it isn't working, then having to go out and buy another one of a better brand. Our time is precious! Better spend more money on a quality timer that will last you and use your thoughts and energy on things that really matter.

Cheap timer
Bought 2 of these at local dollar store. One was dead on arrival. The other works ok, but it is only a count-down timer, and needs the interval to be reset each time you use it.
