They should give the person who invented this in Nobel prize. Seriously, most people transport their bicycles on any number of bike racks on their sedans or SUVs. But what if you own a truck? We used to simply throw our bikes in the back and they get tangled together tossed around etc... This thing is nothing short of a stroke of genius. Utilize the tailgate to secure the bicycle or several of them in place. Works like a charm, actually better than advertised. There are "better" units available on Amazon, but what's better? A couple more bells and whistles for 30% more? I bought this one because I just need something to secure bicycles on our way to the towpath. I don't care at all about locking mechanisms or the cool graphic that a company puts on the back etc etc. This is a prime item, buy it, give it a shot, you'll love it. If not return it.

this thing works awesome on my tacoma, sure some others are probably better quality but this bad boy is easy to put on and take off as well as it holds like 8 bikes

This product is very well designed. Easy to use. Drove 3 hours on the highway with 3 bikes, with no issues.However, the flap for the tailgate handle does NOT fit a 3rd generation Tacoma, as Amazon stated! You can lift the flap and kind of reach the handle, but it's not easy. Also, it will render your back-up camera useless.

I’m super impressed with this pad. Hold my bike secure and is a fraction of the price of some of the name brand pads. I can’t tell a difference. Fits perfect on my 3rd gen Tacoma too! I highly recommend

Wanted the Yakima version but couldn't get it in time for our trip. Ordered this one instead and it worked great! We have a full size 2020 F150 XLT and could have easily used the 6 bike version, just based on how short it was over the tailgate. However, we were only hauling 4 bikes so there was room to spare on one side and the cover came down just far enough to protect the tailgate from the bike wheels. It did the job just fine and would recommend it!

Been using this bike rack a lot!! My friends and I usually all take separate cars when we head to the mountains to bike, but now I pick everyone up and we load our bikes in my truck because this rack makes it so much easier to load and hit the road!

Fit good on my 2020 F150. Two cons. 1. Straps are hard to get through the bottom of the tailgate. 2. It’s geared for 5 bikes but was only able to get 4 on. Other than that worked as described.

This is a five-star product in terms of what you get for the money. Good construction, the bikes stay in place, fits my Gladiator, and are very easy to install. The only reason I can not give a five star review is because there is no hole for the backup camera. Other than that, I am happy with the "Rack".
