Mine cracked the first time I used it.** A: Actually, when I received mine, the inner ceramic pot was OK but the outer case (control unit) was damaged...in the box...and the box wasn't even damaged. I sent mine back. However, since you have used yours, you will need to check with Amazon first to see if it's still returnable. If not, make a claim with Black & Decker as it should be under warranty. You could most likely order a "replacement pot" from B&D's website but they need to incur the cost with it being new. I know this may not be the answer you're looking for but I truly hope this helps. I personally think these units are just too cheaply made.
