Allergy
I developed a skin rash from it. I don’t have any marines or food allergies. After i had the rash I stopped taking this collagen, the rash went away, and I tried taking the collagen again weeks later, I developed the same rash.

Very palatable, easy to take and from a quality source
I've been pondering collagen supplementation for some time. Quality sources are quite expensive and I was concerned that I would be left with a stock of (in the words of Angus Deaton) "undrinkable filth".The opportunity to test some free via the vine program seemed like a good moment to jump in and try it.This supplement is made in Norway so I felt confident about the quality and standard of product. It's billed as 100% natural which is important for me. It's made of marine collagen from fish skin, to be precise cod skin. Yummy eh?So it arrived this morning and with some trepidation I opened up the box. The box is equipped with tamper evident seals and contains 30 individual serving pouches of the collagen vitamin C supplement. It is to be taken stirred into 150ml water. I was really not looking forward to it, but in fact I found it to have a light sweet lemony flavour. Will it ever replace champagne or a gin and tonic? No but it is certainly very palatable and easy to drink just 150ml to improve your health. You would genuinely have no clue you were knocking back cod skin juice. I'm actually looking forward to trying this for the next 30 days and seeing if there is any discernable effect. Collagen is said to have many benefits especially for those of us the wrong side of 40 or should I say the better side of 40? It's all a matter of perspective I suppose. To sum up I would say, given the provenance the price tag is deserved and if you have never dared to try collagen before because of fear of where it comes from and what it might taste like, then give this a go, I don't think you will be disappointed.

So far so good.
This type 1 Collagen peptide supplement is 100% natural. Its made using wild caught cod from sustainable fisheries. Marine collagen is beneficial to hair and nails and has numerous benefits to skin tissue including increased moisture. Its rich in amino acids which are vital for muscle repair, joints, muscle and bones. This Norwegian brand has the added addition of vitamin c which is needed for the production of callagen. Its really easy to take, comes in a handy sachet that you can add to any liquid including warm drinks. It does have a mild lemon taste though so I add it to some boiled and cooled water from the kettle as my morning drink. It has a nice box to store them in.I've been taking them for a month now and really do feel the benefits. My nails have grown. I also feel like my menopause flushes have lessened in intensity. I will definitely continue with them.

Lemony-fishy goodness!
I started taking this supplement about 3 weeks ago, usually with any sort of tablet or supplement I like to give it a couple of weeks before reviewing, allowing time for me to see the benefits (if any). The collagen is in the form of a powder that you mix with about 150ml of water, they are in individual sachets so handy for bringing away or into work. The taste isn’t great, it’s lemon flavoured however you do get a very slight fish taste/smell to it… it’s only very slight so it doesn’t deter me from taking it. Also it’s only a small amount to drink so you’re done quickly!! I have also found that it takes a little while to completely dissolve in water, I would stir it through but most times I am still left a bit of gloopy un-dissolved mixture at the bottom of my glass, which isn’t the most pleasant to have to take.So for the positives! I have definitely noticed an improvement with my hair, it feels stronger and I think it looks healthier. Also there doesn’t seem to be as much breakage or fallout. My nails too are much stronger and are growing a lot faster. It’s my skin where I was hoping to see the benefits.I do really believe that my skin is brighter and clear. I still get the occasional hormonal breakout and now a few other random around my jawline which I think is a result of wearing a face mask (global pandemic times). But yes my skin does have a glow to it, I am not claiming that it is all a result of the Collagen as I have a very good skincare regime but I do think the collagen is helping with the glow!I still have a couple of weeks left before I finish the box – the box has 30sachets so will last you a month if taken daily, which is the recommended dosage. I will continue taking collagen after I am finished with this supply, just not too sure if I will purchase this brand. It is quite expensive (£37 so around €40) every month, although I am fully aware as we get older we need to invest in our skin & hair. I will research other brands, to compare price points.. who knows I may be buying this after all!Losing point due to taste and gloopy-ness!
