Try it
Bought here as this is unavailable in any shops near to me and I've never tried cactus before. It's like shredded aloe vera, pickled. Nice spice, mildly hot and a little sour from the brine. Would like to try fresh.. but in the UK this is probably the best we can get for now.. :Gran Luchito take note! (Perhaps could do vaccum packed fresh cactus..?) Anyway, like this and will order more.

mexican surprise.
i wanted to try these as i have never tried cacti before. they have a nice enough taste. they are used to top various mexican dishes. i filled taco shells and then put the cacti on top of the filling. they can be used liked pickeled sweet peppers. there was not a long expiry date on the jar. nice if you want to try something different.

Seems tasty enough to me
I've no idea what fresh cactus tastes like but this did seem quite nice. I had a small portion with a burrito and I quite liked it.

Uneventful
I put on a "Mexican night" for my fellas birthday party and bought these as an extra and abit of a conversation piece obviously cactus being somewhat aloof in the UK! Overall it was an ok purchase, the Cactus in the pickle juice itself just tastes like a heat-less jalapeno. The little pieces of cactus hold there shape when in the jar but are a tad on the mushy side when out. They are ok, uneventful... I'm sure the real thing fresh is alot better but I have no previous experience to compare to sadly. I would recommend to give to children who want to "join in" but can't handle the heat of a jalapeno. -and I'm only saying that because it tastes and has the texture of pickled jalapenos with no heat obviously... It's a cactus!!

This is one of the weirdest things I’ve ever eaten. Granted, I bought it for my mother who really wanted to try pickled cactus (??) and she really enjoyed it. So… for being a pickled cactus it’s great. If you’re like me and have never had pickled cactus, oh boy is it a strange one. It’s like eating a pickle that doesn’t taste like a pickle? It’s so weirdly soft but crunchy still and it just… it just tastes kinda like dirty vinegar. It’s so weird. But hey if you like that, then 5 starts for this boi
