The phone signal is patchy in some areas locally which therefore also affects my mobile hotspot dongle reception. the aerials give me a noticeable improvement in reception.

Do not buy/use these antenna, they destroyed a very expensive wifi router. The pins inside the antenna are not straight and when you push them in they damage the internal connections of your router 🤬🤬🤬👎👎

I bought these for use in conjunction with my Netgear Blackhawk modem. Given hpow compact these are I didn't expert any significant effect, but thought it worth a punt. I tried it in a few locations and then compared it with a Poynting's antenna. The latter definitely boosted the received signal. The former seemed to have no effect whatsoever. A fairly brief test, but I tried with sim cards from two different providers with the same results.So, very cheap and compact and worth a try, but they do not appear to be very effective.

Claims to work with Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 but either connectors don’t fit or the antenna degrade the signal and bandwidth. Have better speed and bandwidth using internal antenna.
