I am having a love affair with this mousepad.
I am having a love affair with this mousepad. I have been gaming on a minuscule mousepad for far too long, there is nothing worse than running out of mousepad at that crucial moment. It became my dream to have an entire desk made of mousepad, and this is close enough to that dream that I have completely forgotten I ever had any problems. I have a small desk space, and this is nice and shallow and fits almost perfectly on my desk area, but not too shallow that I feel like there isn't enough room. It is wide enough for me to use my mouse, have my full size keyboard on it, and have a place to put my phone on the far left of it.I know mousepads aren't really necessary anymore, but I think they make life better. They are much more comfortable to use than nothing at all, and prevent wear on your desk. Comfort is one area where this pad really excels. It is soft, cushy, and thick. The edge stitching is substantial enough to inspire confidence, but not obtrusive. My mouse is very responsive on the surface too. The rubber backing keeps it in place very well too. When I received mine it came rolled up and I was concerned it would take time to get the curl out. But, I unrolled it, plopped in on the desk and there was absolutely no curl. Like it had been shipped in a 36"x12" box. To me, that speaks the quality and durability of this pad.If there is a negative, I would say that it had a faint odor. Very faint, I might not have really noticed it had I not read the reviews before I bought it. But, I've had it for a month or two and I don't detect any odor any more, even when I bury my nose in it. Other than that, there are no downsides. This pad is the perfect size, high quality, and reasonably priced. The only regret I have about this purchase is that I didn't buy it 10 years ago.

Best mousepad I've found so far, it's lasted me 5 years of daily use.
This mousepad was exactly what I was looking for when I bought it back in mid-2018. Thick enough to be comfortable on a hard surface, while also not being so thick that it strains your wrist. I do prefer my mousepads to be roughly twice as thick as this one, but as detailed below that's one of the reasons I chose this thin mousepad due to some other circumstances of my particular computer use area.Aside from my unusual setup which required me to make some small modifications to the mousepad, this mousepad has been performing flawlessly for a little less than 5 1/2 years now, but I am now in need of a new one, and I'll be buying the same exact one I bought in 2018, the "standard 8"x9" mousepad".The modifications I made include fabricating a stiff backing out of 1/4" plywood, and then affixing the mousepad to the backing at the corners by using some screws I had lying around from when I was much younger and disassembled appliances to figure out how they work (I'm sure you could find screws that would work at a hardware store, probably some sort of screw designed for attaching handles to cabinet doors and things like that). The reason I needed this stiff backing is because I use my computer while laying on my bed bed most of the time, and my mouse ends up beside me on the bed instead of on a desk. My bed is pushed right up against my desk, the monitor is mounted up high to the wall behind the desk, and I lay on my bed cross-wise with a pile of pillows to prop me up so I can see my monitor, you might think it's weird, but it's extremely comfortable for very long sessions of using the computer, every day, and I don't even have any back or neck problems which surprised my mother. That brings me to the one tiny little problem I have with this mousepad. It's the rubber backing. If you are going to use this mousepad in the repair bay of an auto shop, it might not last as long as mine has, and that's because the rubber backing material they use is not oil resistant.I discovered this because I accidentally dripped some sub sauce on this mousepad, and I thought I cleaned it up rather well, but I didn't put it in the washing machine because I didn't want the stitching on the edges to unravel.Sub sauce is basically Italian "oil and vinegar" dressing, but used on a sub sandwich, and I thought I had cleaned it off well enough that I didn't have to put it in the washing machine, but I guess it turns out that's where the problems began.I will say that it did take a rather long time for the rubber backing to degrade to the point that I'm starting to have issues with the mousepad not providing good tracking in certain spots for my mouse anymore, but the point remains that you should keep oil as far away from this mousepad as possible, and if you DO get oil on it, you should machine wash it promptly to prevent the rubber backing from degrading. As for washing instructions, I don't know if it came with those or not, but I'm going to guess that you should probably only use cold water and no bleach, unsure about using podded detergents, and as for the cycle my gut feeling says you probably want to go as gentle as possible on a mousepad and do NOT put it in the dryer at all, instead hang it up outside if the weather is suitable (or hang it up inside in the shower or tub so it can drip-dry and air dry if the weather's bad or it's winter like it is for me right now).To be perfectly honest, I blame myself for being lazy when taking care of this mousepad, rather than blaming the product for not being oil resistant. If I had to guess, oil-resistant foam rubber that would provide otherwise similar material properties to the material currently used on the backing of this mousepad is probably more expensive than whatever kind of rubber it is already using, and that's reason enough to not use it, because really most people wouldn't expect oil to be near a mousepad in the first place. Additionally, an oil-resistant mousepad would probably be an extremely niche product at best, and therefore not worth producing.Like I said, I hold myself at fault for the failure of this mousepad. I'll be taking better care of the 2nd one.

Excellent Mouse Pad for Gamers and Non Gamers Alike
Amazing mousepad for a great price.Pros:Sturdy constructionWater resistant topSmooth surfaceComfortable dense materialCons:Not the cheapest out thereNon removable logoThe top is water resistant and has not yet gotten all nasty from any liquids. I only drink water at my desk and I do not use the mouse pad as a coaster. Only some condensate from a cold glass has dripped on the mouse pad so far, so no large spills have occurred. On the occasion that some liquid does get on the pad, I simply brush it off or use a tissue to dry the spot. There was a very faint smell when it was new, but now it's all gone. It comes rolled up in a bag-like sleeve, not a hard tube. This is good as you are not paying for excessive packaging. Hey, you're buying this online right? No need for fancy advertising. The only documentation is a soft glossy card. Unpacking it was quite simple. I only had to slide the plastic off the rolled up pad. The pad did not exhibit any memory from being rolled up and had laid flat right away. No need to put heavy objects or massage the waves out.I'm not a huge gamer, so I can't comment too much on the ultra smoothness of this pad, but it is smoother than anything else I have ever used. At no time have I felt my mouse snag on anything. The surface has no bumps and the padded layer is very consistent in density. The pad is tall enough that your wrist will not ever come near the edge.Since my desk is glass, this pad gives me a nice comfortable area to mouse and type. This pad seems a little denser than my previous mouse pad which is good to rest your wrists on. My fullsize keyboard and mouse fit quite comfortably and there is A LOT more room left. I feel like i can have 2 mice on this thing.I don't foresee this thing falling apart any time soon. The construction seems solid and there are no exposed edges. The stitching is very consistent and the seams are in places where you would never rest your hands/wrists. On my example, the seams are on the right side edge and above the logo. Neither of these locations is where your hands/wrists should be. The bottom is extremely tacky and has not slid once. The logo is not removable, but it's so unobtrusive that I don't care. The logo is sublimated into the top layer, not printed or painted. This method of applique should never peel, but may fade with repeated washing or exposure to UV light. I have not yet washed the pad so I cannot comment on washability.Overall, this is an excellent product that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone; gamer or otherwise. It provides a great work surface that is spacious and comfortable. While the logo is permanent, less picky shoppers will find all the other features make this "negative" a moot point. At this midrange price point, with the quality and features, this should beat most L337 Pr0 GTXt3m3 G4ming mouse pads. BUY THIS MOUSEPAD.
