It’s a total trash is not even the same product from the picture !We have to ban this kind of trash products from amazon , it’s only making more contamination to the world .Can’t even install it .

Excellent addition to your BMW!
This thing is AWESOME, and absolutely works with 2012 BMW X5! Make sure both sliding covers are open fully and push charging pad corner into groove of sliding cover door (see attached photos)

Doesn’t charge with thin case. Don’t buy
Waste of money and time. Doesn’t even work with a small case. Works slowly with no case but who uses iPhones with no case?

Received this charger and was very disappointed, it was different from what was shown and was not in new condition,I have done a lot of amazon shopping, this was my worse experience!!

Its just OK
It does the job but obviously takes up a valuable cup holder. I found the fit rather mediocre with the plate wobbling around on one side regardless if you try and clip it under the trim. For the price, the fit and it taking up a cup holder I can't recommend. There are better solutions out there for the center console imo.

Amazing product
This is an amazing product - I strongly recommend to anyone with a smart phone with wireless capability. It just works!!! Also, it works on BMW x5m/x6m (F85/867) owners.

Good product overall
It can be easily installed and can work fine with my car and phone. I like the product a lot.Two problems: 1) it fits the space, but very tight. I had a hard time to get it out after installation.2) It is very close to the charger and takes the only charger. Since I had a radar detector, I have to give up this wireless charger.

Wish it had auto on and off
Good quality product. Runs on micro usbC.Pro: it’s fits very nice in the cup holder. Anti slip surface works well. Charges quick.Con: you need to turn it on and off, not automatic. Runs very warm. Charging spot is a bit small. Could be bigger.Overall it’s not bad.

I’m coming unglued
Product was making noise when I removed from box. Found all the glue being used to hold charge coils in place had let go.
