Like the other cables that I have bought that were from MPD Digital, this one is well-made and looks good cosmetically. I use it for a cable run to my HF antenna and it does not appear to degrade transmit or receive. I prefer to use RG-213 for longer cable runs but this RG-58 at HF frequencies does not cause any problem with the 50 foot length. Highly recommended for short antenna runs for HF. The PL259 connectors are on securely and appear to be reliable.Arrived on time and was packed will.

Warning! Do not buy if you're looking for high quality cabling! This cable is not as described in the picture. The picture shows a machined center pin with heatshrink on the back of the connector, but the cable I received had a soldered center pin and a molded connector. I also picked the 2ft option, but received a 3ft long cable... I suppose that isn't as much of a problem as the poor quality connectors. Perhaps there are multiple items and sellers behind this one item, and if you order other lengths it turns out fine, but mine most certainly did not turn out fine!

So far so good it all checks out well I use it for my HAM radio HT when in the field & hook up yo my home made J-Pole & Yagi antenna.If you do buy it for a HT HAM radio remember to get the radio antenna adapter UHF female adapters to connect male to male ends

Ordered this "no brainer" product and threw it in my bag. Just got around to using it and was having a great deal of problems with a system that I had used many times before. Low and behold this 10' cable with PL-259 connectors had a SHORT between shield and center conductor. You would think that each assembly would be tested before going out the door, but this manufacturer evidently does not. Naturally the return period has run out, and with something this common a stock item it is not worth the time and effort to go back and forth. In the future I'll just put this source on my "Do not buy" list.

MPD has become my go-to source for RF cables. They're competitively priced—especially considering they're made in the US—and of excellent quality.

It's a cable and it works, not much else to say about these. I've got a handful of other set length cables from MPD before on Amazon and they've all been well assembled. The only difference I can tell in the most recent purchase is the connectors are a different design, with a little more meat to them.

I am using this to connect an SWR meter to a CB radio. This is of quality material and the connectors very securely fastened. The cabling is insulated well and has no external noise interfering with getting a quality signal. Great buy at a great price.
