Purchased the book for Ranger research. The stories were very informative.

The book was interesting but after reading Mike Cox books, it didn't put you into the story as much. It was very factual without the spinkling of some fictional touchings or small details that always interests me.

This book was also very helpful in researching my relative's personal history with Jack Hays and his company of Rangers.
