You need this post surgery!
Previously I used the 4x4's bit when those ran out went with the 5x5's so I can put them on myself (back) accurately. There are more expensive and cheaper options. This brand is reputable and after seeing a YouTube video demonstation decided to go with them. You wnat the wound to drain and the bandage to lock in that drainage. Normal bandages and gauze which my dermatologist gave me don't do that. I went that route and realized they cheaped me out after studying would healing. I feel these bandages accelerated my healing process which is not nearly complete. The one thing is you may get an alergic reacton to them such as redness and itchiness. It wont be on the wound iteself but were the bandage touches the rest of the skin. Initially I thought was deu to my would healing but later the nurse told me its due this bandage. Regardless, the trade off was worth it for me. Again, buy them/ They are espensive but will help you post surgery where there are sutures. All my ratings are based on price to value except this one because good health has no price.

Great stick, but comes off when you want it to
These stick well, but are gental on my scar tissue. They are easy to remove, water proof and very adsorbent. My preferred brand.

Great product for wounds
Home health nurse saw daddy's arm. Had ripped away a fair size amount of skin and we were using 4x4 bandages every day with antibiotic ointment. She gave us one of the Allevyn bandages stating they were superior. Man, was she ever right. Padded, comfortable and can be worn up to 5 days with the antibiotic ointment. Just don't let it be soiled by a leaking wound. You have to change more often should that happen, of course. Sticks great. Clean the wound and let the skin dry. I usually wait several minutes. Then apply bandage. No bandage will stick to slightly moist skin. A little pricey, but evens out due to the bandages durability to a point. Not an everyday band-aid style bandage.

Close and very reliable
This product is close to the product manufactured in Germany and does exactly what the original does. Product is made the same and does the same job as original. Size is exact, and the feel of it is the same. I'm using these bandages to help in the aid of weeping ulcers on legs and feet .

Great bandage
We used these bandages for my husband after back surgery. They gave a bit of cushion to the area, along with keeping the site dry, even while showering. They did not stick to the incision and they did not irritate his skin like most bandages. He wore them for 2 weeks. Definitely would recommend them, even though they are expensive. You get what you pay for. We needed a cushioned, waterproof bandage that would not irritate his skin and that's what we got.

Sticks, well padded, and comes off easily.
We've been using these over a very delicate wound and they are, hands down, the best bandages we've ever used. They stick well. Although, when you first put it on it may come up a bit until your body heat helps the adhesive stick. They are well padded for areas that need more protection. They don't pull your skin off(for those who are allergic to everything else), or even hurt when pulling off.
