This is a great product - I am so glad I found it. It is very helpful for itchy scalp -- you just put on a little when your hair is wet from the shower, and rub it in and style as usual. It can also help as a tonic during the day. It is easy to apply, and feels great. Just a little works well. I am going to order extra bottles to have on hand!

This stuff has been great for me. Had tight, itchy scalp and female hair loss for years. I went to several dermatologists and my family doctor who all shrugged and said "sorry, you've got female pattern hair loss, nothing you can do". Stumbled upon this on Amazon while searching for "scalp lotion" and it's changed everything for me. Turns out I must have been stressing my scalp with the heat of my blow dryer or something. I started using this every night before I go to bed and I now have a healthy head of hair. It feels great and cooling when I apply it at the top of my scalp right in the middle and then rub it into my scalp a bit.

I have suffered from dry scalp all my life and I always use special shampoos and conditioners. I still found my scalp felt tight and itchy between washings. This leave in is wonderful! I use it after I wash my hair and whenever my scalp feels dry. It makes my scalp feel moisturized and refreshed. There's no more dry. itchy feeling. The scent is lovely too. It's like a body lotion but for your scalp.

This solution is the best I've found, and at 67 I've tried a lot of them. The only place that I have a problem is around the hairline on the back of my neck. I started using the solution as soon as I got it and it works wonders besides smelling delightful!! As soon as the solution is put on the itching stops. I'm going to be a customer for a very long time, it's really THAT GOOD FOR ME!Good job L'Oreal !! :-) :-) :-)

I used it for what it is intended...to relieve scalp itch

I never review products. Too busy. But I want to categorically state that I have lived with dry, patchy scalp since I was about 12. Got made fun of at school, and tried different things. Found out about this products through a friend in France when I was in my late 20's. Been using it every since and buying wherever I can find it. Loreal Scalp Relief makes it go away instantly. I usually get flare-ups when the cold weather starts, and I pair it up with Head and Shoulders shampoo treatment. Works like a charm. Not only for me, but for my dad and my husband. If this product ever discontinues, I'm basically up a creek.

Tried this out as an alternative to Scalpicin, for a small itchy psoriasis patch under my hair at the nape of my neck. I didn't have high expectations of a "natural" product, but it's actually turned out to be pretty effective. I actually transferred some of this into a travel-sized bottle---immediate portable relief!Unlike other scalp treatments I've used, this one is not completely liquid; it's more viscous but not as thick as a lotion. Not as messy as real liquids (I've had those drip everywhere before I could massage in), this is a bonus for me since I'm applying to the back of my neck. The sensation is cooling/tingling and it lasts quite a while. Nice smell, not medicinal.My one star off is because this leaves my hair feeling a little greasy. Since I'm applying it only to the underside of the very back of my hair, it's not that big a deal; however, I would not like using it at the top part of my scalp or really anywhere else my hair is "showing."

I received this product today which is 6 days faster than I expected. This is my first time using the product and within the last 6 hours I have felt a major difference. There is a light tingling feeling on my scalp and my hair is not dry at all which is amazing. My hair is also not oily. It's moisturized perfectly.I am not expecting a miracle overnight and I will update this review if anything changes good or bad. The big plus is products that dry my hair within hours but this product is keeping it nicely maintained.

Not exactly the 'Godsend' that some reviewers had made it out to be but still an OK product. I did enjoy the cooling sensation on the scalp, however it was too short lived. Overall I did not notice any real improvement to the dry condition of my scalp, even after several weeks of near daily use. Small bottle size does not go very far and so this also lessens the overall value of the product...I had high hopes but sadly I will not be purchasing any more.

Nothing special - I did not find the especially 'relieving'. Pretty useless actually.
