Ulubulu Silicone Bib, B.O.T Robot

I've used these for babies and toddlers. The kids love the stylized animal prints (and try to fight over them sometimes!) and wear them with no problems. We all like the way it has a pouch that catches food crumbs. These are super easy to clean in the sink with the dishes and drys quickly (unlike cloth bibs) I get tons of compliments on these from other parents when we eat out at restaurants

I bought these bibs about six months ago for my 17 month old twins. I basically bought them because they had the silicone pocket and they were cute. I also had the Tommy Tippee silicone bibs. I like these better. The silicone on these bibs is easier to clean and stains less. My Tommy Tippee bibs are now peeling where the silicone creases and they are all stained. My ulubulu bibs still looks brand new.There are some minor things I dislike about these bibs. First, the neck hook is kind of hard to put on. That is good and bad. It's bad for me since I'm putting the bibs on my toddlers... although I quickly got used to it. It is good because my boys cannot take the bib off. The neck hole is a bit larger than needed. There are times where their shirts still gets messy at the top since the bib has such a big neck hole. The surface area of this bib is a bit smaller than other brands, but it hasn't caused me any problems. Overall... I love this bib. I would buy it all over again.

Here is what is wrong with it:1)The closure is hard to use. The hook doesn't easily go into the holes and because its rubber, it pulls baby's hair out if it is caught. It is hard enough to get anything on a wiggling baby this just adds stress and pain to meal time which is the last thing anyone needs.2)It is too narrow & too short. The inch above the bears ears doesn't provide any coverage at all right around the collar of whatever shirt baby is wearing and then the ears only come to the middle of baby's collar bone leaving part of the chest and all of the shoulders exposed. The bottom of the bib is comes just to the bottom of my 10 month old baby's rib cage leaving lost of clothing exposed. Most bibs that are any good for messy meals complete cover the shoulders and abdomen and fall about to the baby's hip.This bib sure is cute but that about it. My child gets red in the face trying to pull it off the instant it is put on and then proceeds to try to use it as a teether. AWFUL.

The quality was great and it was easy to clean. But it’s the worst product. It was hard to connect from the back. My baby was always crying and it was a weird shape so his neck and shoulders would get dirty from the food. Honestly not baby friendly.

These bibs are really cute and I thought they'd be good for my son who just turned one and I felt was still a little small to wear the Baby Bjorn soft bibs. On the plus side, the clasps stay together really well because of the friction of silicone so my son isn't able to pull it off like he can with his other bibs. On the con side, however, the "lip" of the bib doesn't stay open that well so it doesn't really catch that much food. It's also a little small so perhaps these might be better for like a 6 month old just starting solids. I wish I had tried these earlier. I think I could have gotten more use it out of them when my son was smaller.

I like that this bib is different from other bibs - the bear face is cute. The pocket does a great job of catching food, and food rinses off easily. Other silicone items we use (like spoons), stain easily, but this bib looks great.However, the adjustable neck clasp is a major pain: the hook that fits into one of the Cheerios-looking slots is very difficult to pull through. It's a tight fit and a lot like threading a needle - which is a struggle with a squirmy baby. Also, the smallest setting is still not small enough for Dragon Baby (maybe she has a small neck?), so food gets in her neck and on her shirt. Because it's made of soft silicone, you can roll it up for travel (which is good) but it also means that Dragon Baby can fold it to chew on the ears (which is bad, because even more food gets on her shirt).

I bought these bibs as extra silicone self feeding bibs for my twins. I like these ulubulu bibs the best. The silicone is easier to clean than the other silicone bibs I have. They haven't stained yet, probably due to the darker colors... Bonus! The Tommy Tippee bibs I bought at Toys R Us are all stained and starting to look crumby. These ulubulu bibs are still going strong. There are just a few negatives to this item. It is a bit tricky to secure it on the child... If they are wiggling around. Also, the silicone is a little thinner which makes the food catcher flap sometimes close.... Sometimes.... Not often. Hands down, I would buy these all over again and love them! The positives far out weigh the negatives.

This bib is made of lovely soft quidgy silicon and the faces are fun. It is securely attached and smaller than a lot of bibs eg Tommee Tippee. Unfortunately my baby's hair can get caught in the tie at the back, whereas it doesn't with standard bibs, so you have to take a bit more care. Also the catch pocket tends to lean in so doesn't always catch the falling food. I bought two of these (the other one was the pink one) and this occurred with both.

Great product

I bought this as a joke for my husband as he keeps missing his mouth when he eats lol but on a serious not it is for a baby it's nice and soft not like the stiff pelican bibs of times past,and it looks cute and is easy to clean, if I had a baby I would recommend this.
