Easy to Follow and Understand
Brent writes well in a way that's easy to follow and understand. He walks you through a variety of suspension systems, identifying the pros and cons of each, and the best way to utilize each. Doesn't just focus on what he sells, although you can tell he believes in his products, and the ones he chooses to use and sell through his shop. This book goes a long way to help me determine what type of suspension I want, what parts to buy, what to build and do myself.

Screw up prevention....
Great book, even if you know your s#*t! Should probably have been proofread a bit better, but hey... we're building cars, not teaching an English class. Alot of sound theory to apply to your build... Clears out some of the dust and cobwebs! Keeps you from forgetting an important point.... BEFORE you detail and paint up that chassis!

Superb suspension book you shoujld read after you buy and read Brent's other book - ....30 Years of Advice from Fatman
Great follow-up with more detail and specifics about how to build a safe, solid, and enjoyable hot rod. Don't start randomly modifying your vehicle's suspension without reading Brent's books and researching what you want from Fat Man Fabrications and other quality suppliers Brent unselfishly mentions in his books..
