S350 Charger Stand

I’m in the process of returning this stand, it’s in the mail. It would not hold the charging puck no matter how hard/far I pushed it into the stand. After a couple minutes, the puck would pop out. I probably could have tried to cut the little ribs on the inner part of the circle/stand to reduce the pressure but decided against it since it might not have worked. The stand looked great, stuck to the table with the rubber pad and was steady and didn’t move at all but having to re-insert the charging puck every time I wanted to charge my watch was a deal breaker. Especially since the puck would disconnect with the watch even though it is magnetic. UPDATED 10/20/2017 Spigen contacted me in regards to my review, stating that they wanted to make my experience with their product a good one. I told them that I already received my refund through Amazon for the return and they said they were going to send me a new one anyway, to give them another chance. I received a new watch stand and sure enough, this one works perfectly. It is inexpensive but not cheaply made and works like a charm. Not sure what the issue was with the first stand, but the replacement works great. Spigen didn’t have to send a replacement, but they did. They stand behind their product. I have upgraded my review to 5 stars, mainly for their customer service but also for the product. For reference, my watch is a 42mm series 2, black stainless in a case protector and it fits the stand and charges as advertised.

My disappointment is my own fault. I was searching for some additional charging cables for my new-to-me Apple Watch, and this little stand came up in the results. The photo clearly showed the charger/cable, and I've always had good luck with Spigen products, so I hit the Buy button. Unfortunately, I did not look closely enough at the description, so I missed that it was only the stand to *hold* the charger, and that no actual charger was included. So now I have a stand I really don't need and still no way to charge my watch. But I can't really blame Spigen for my own mistake, can I? If I did want a stand, this one looks to be a good one. It's got a small footprint, so it can go just about anywhere. The weird silicone stuff on the bottom clings hard to a flat surface, so it won't be knocked over, but it doesn't actually have adhesive on it, so you're not permanently damaging a table top or whatever. And with a good yank, you can take it off and reposition it. The charging cable (the only one I have that came with the watch) fits well, and it comes with an estra silicone pad for the lip your watch sits on, presumably so if your watch has the smaller face like mine, it rests in the right position for charging. Overall a good stand if you're looking for one.

I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s cheap and does a good job of doing what it is intended to. It doesn’t come with a charger but it’s also around $6. The quality is reasonably good and it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna break at all with regular use. I like that the design is very simple and meant to hold the watch horizontally or in nightstand mode. It was easy to set up and I appreciate that two options are given for the orientation of the cable. Also I like that they added that somewhat adhesive material to the bottom so the stand stays upright and doesn’t slight around your nightstand or desk. I should also mention that while I am using this with the 42mm Watch, that they have included a little adhesive strip to add to the stand to support the 38mm as well. This also leads me to my one fault for this stand. If you are using any type of case on your watch, your watch may not align correctly with the charger which means it won’t charge. I am currently using one of the X-Doria cases on my watch and due to the fact that it extends off the watch 2-3mm, my watch won’t charge on this stand while it’s in the case. Now I like the stand and so I’m willing to just try and modify it which should be easy. Like I said earlier, im leaving it at five stars because it’s nice, it works, it accommodates both 42mm and 38mm watches, and it was very affordable. If you don’t use a case on your watch and watch a cheaper very usable charging stand then I can easily recommend this.

Lovely product buttttttt one thing. After it inevitably fell off from me hitting it or just the residue losing grip. It fell so I gave up trying to stick it back and instead screwed a hole through the thing. I removed the little resting pad first then screwed a screw through the hole into the wooden side table I have. Then put the little spacer over it. WORKS PERFECTLY. This needs to be a feature of it tbh. I’d say put two drill holes one on each side of the little pad thing so it’s more even then my one big hole in the middle. But ya other than amazing product. Very simple single piece of quality rubber plastic stuff.

Works perfect! Super sticky base so it won’t move at all but is easy to remove. Apple Watch charger fits perfect and doesn’t move. Great quality for the price

I searched and debated with myself for a long time when deciding what stand I should purchase for my Apple Watch. I found this highly rated stand here on Amazon and thought that for the price, I probably couldn't go wrong. I am so happy I purchased this stand and rate it an EXCEPTIONAL VALUE. Initially, I was looking to purchase a more expensive and fancy stand. I wanted to use the nightstand/clock function of the Watch to replace my nightstand clock which was also a bit bright for my liking. THIS STAND IS PERFECT IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO DO THE SAME. Being a long time Apple customer design and decor is important to me. This is why I started by looking at some of the very expensive options that exist for the Apple Watch. I thought about the combo units that doc both the iPhone and the Watch, but couldn't quite wrap my head around spending $75 to $125 on a fancy ring that would sit on my nightstand. I was looking for something simple, good looking and served the function of allowing me to use the watch as a nightstand clock while it was charging. I am so glad I chose this product. It looks great, and is minimalistic. The rubberized body of the doc protects the watch and blends nicely with the black sports band on my watch. The charge puck fits perfectly. You can route the cord to either side of the stand. I have the dock placed on a wooded night stand next to the bed. The suction backing keeps the dock in place- to activate the time, I simply tap the top or the side of the nightstand which wakes the clock and displays the time. Then, as designed by Apple, the display turns off after a few seconds providing me the darkness I like when I sleep. When I am wearing my watch, the low profile of the stand sitting on the night table is also very good- it almost disappears. I like the looks when not in use better than how I imagine a larger doc would look sitting on the night table with no devices plugged in. As many other reviewers have stated, shake the doc to release it from the surface of the nightstand, don't pull it straight up or the backing stays on the surface rather than the rubber of the bottom of the dock. I was planning on trying this product and then buying something more expensive down the line. As it turns out, this is perfect and for the price, why get a more expensive option that serves the same function.

I absolutely love this thing! I always complain about the original Apple Watch charger sliding off my night stand, and about not getting to fully utilize the nightstand mode. This solves both of those issues! The only problem I’ve had with it is that I tried to take it with me a few days after I got it when I stayed overnight somewhere and some of the sticky pad thing on the bottom tore right off, so now it doesn’t stick as well anymore. I’m not sure if there’s a way to prevent the rest from peeling off or not, but I just have to pop my charger out of the stand if I need to travel now! Otherwise, this stand is a good weight, sturdy, my original Apple Watch charger fits PERFECTLY in it, and it also looks nice! I also very much enjoyed the sticky pad on the bottom that prevents it from moving around, but as I mentioned, some of that peeled off now. But it still sticks okay, and it doesn’t impact what the stand actually does. Overall, WELL worth the $9 or $10 it cost to buy it! ********************************* Update as of June 12, 2021: it’s been around a year and a half since I bought this thing, and I figured I’d give an update. I still use this stand every single day, and it’s still perfect! The sticky pad on the bottom - although slightly torn - STILL sticks. I just take a damp washcloth/rag and lightly wipe off/dab the adhesive pad when it isn’t sticking very well, and it sticks again. I actually take it with me when I go away overnight again (now that I’ve figured out how to make it stick a little better), and I noticed when I was house/dog-sitting recently and needed to plug my chargers in on the opposite side of the bed/nightstand that I normally do, that there’s actually two slots - one on each side of the back of the stand - for the Apple Watch charging cable, so you can put the charger into this stand with the cable on either side of it so you don’t have the cable kinking up or laying across your desk, which was a pleasant little discovery! So yeah, a year and a half later, still 10/10, I’m actually going to order a new one this week!
